I agree with you on this. I culd reald use a better map for mission edditing. I know this will be addresed in the new game engin (A-10)

I under stand your delima. I have 72 switchs that I have to check befor starting up the game. Or if I find one out of sinc I have to use the mouse to switch it to the proper position. But I look at the bright side, I have 72 switches to flip and can add another 72 commands. What other sim can give you this option. Falcon 4 I know, But does it meet the standards of DCS?

I agree with the switchs that have more than two positions. And the big gripe that I have is that the rotery diles for diming lights,hud, shkval, and other things do not have the option to use pots in a custom pit. There is a work around it with roterys diles. But other than theas few thing I love the sim. Theas are all small things that I can hope ED will fix in the futcher. Being that theas are the things that we come up with to complain about shuld make ED feal good that we have to look at the smallest things to find somthing wrong. Just try and enjoy what you have some don't even get the chance to have such thing to complain about.

WOW looks great. you are doing one heck of a job . Cant wait to see it in action. I can tell you that you will enjoy it very much having all the switches to push lkeeps your head in the sim and not looking for switch to click on. Keep up the good work. :thumbup:

the shkval must be active to uses theas fuctions. and you would most likely use them wile locked on a target.

Well the TFT back light is now working but I still have no screan. Not sure about if it is the LCD or the main board that is F**ed. But it is progress. Along with that I have had a set back as well with all the moving the parts around I broke off the wires going to the plug on the main board. So I nee to find a replacment plug and wires. And for the touch screan I thing the firmwair was writen to work only with SeForm hardwair. I was searching Ebay and founs the exact board and a driver CD to go with it for $25. It will attach to the 4 wire tape on the touch screan that I have. Any one have $25 I can barow? :huh:

I don't know what MB he has. But going off the GPU I would say he has a AM2 board not a AM2+. If this is true he is stuck with what he has. But If he has a MB with a AM2+ socket the best chip to get is the PII 940 6mb L3 and 512x4 L2 starting at 3Gh. My curing OC is stable at 3.8 with a Zailmen 9700 42* 48 under load. The AM3 is the 945 3Gh and 955 3.2Gh. The AM3 can use DDR3 ram wile the AM2+ is stuck with DDR2 1066. This is correct.

No the power wont come on in the back light. So eather the back light is broken or the board fryed before

I think it is just limited to XP and the Athlon 64 x2 CPUs. The Phenoms and Phenom II seam to be handling every thing prety good. No I don't :thumbup: and the 14-20 FPS was during smaller missions. Good to here things are working out better for you. If you upgrade your CPU you will probly see FPS in the 80 range.

Update Ok the have retested the TFT screan. The powere is going to it but it is not turning on. windows does see that their is a screan and a touch screan. Just no pitcher on it. So looks like it is a no go on the screan to work. I am a bit bumed out by this. Was hopping at least the LCD would work. Now I just need to find another broken one to see if I can put 1+1 together and have 1 working LCD.

rabbit102 you have to keep in mind that in racing games they are only calking for a small area compaired to the world that we ar in with BS. BS has way more going on than the games that you have stated. Also keep in mind that this is a sim based on a 8+year old game engin. When the new game engin come out expect the min requirments to go up a bit more. As I had stated befor, I had a 6400+ with 2mbL2 running at 3.3Gh I was happy with the 15-20 FPS I was gitting set on medum. I did some testing with the settings turining them up and down in game and only foud a small FPS hit betwean med and low. Only the water and world draw distance realy affected the FPS. EtherealN was correct in the system specs. It takes a PC the is much better than recomended to run Black Shark in all its glory. I saved for 3 months to buy my CPU. and it was well worth it to do so. I would sugest you do the same. Even if you can only get a x3 it will be a big improvment. And the price of CPUs for your mother board are comming down every day. I wish you luck and happy siming.

That CPU is holding back your GPU realy bad. I had a AMD x2 6400 and was gitting 15-25FPS. Just buy changing to a new x4 made a great improvment to the game even at 3Gh I would sugest to get a x3 or x4 Phenom if tou have a AM+ socket. Thet searies of CPU you have realy sucks (I know) The big problem is the cash in the CPU you only have 2mb the newer AMD's have 6-8 mb. Wile you have the speed you dont have the thrueput to keep up with your GPU and the game.

with the new AMD chips comming out the 940s price is droping. I saw it for 189 on newegg.

When I opend it up the first time. All that was wrong with it was the of/off button was missing off the PCB board. I just moved one from the contrast button to the on/off position. It worked albeit for less than a second but it worked nun the less. I still need to rewire it and put a in line fuse (10A) to prevent this agin.

I have 72 working switches in my home build pit and a X52. and I still need more as well.

The AMD AM2+ PII 940 125W 3.00Gh stock Will oc to 3.6 on stock cooler no prob. with a after market cooler 3.8 to 4gh and above that you need liquid. The PII 940 is restricted to the DDR2 1066 ram. and I am still runing the 6400 800Mh value ram. Whin I get some 1066 ram I wil push up to 4gh. As for how it plays I am gitting great frame rates 60max with the 8800gt.

Ok so I was going thrue my videos and adding some new ones and half my videos are muited or blocked. Just because of the music. Is thir any where els that I can post my videos with out this problem?

Ok Guys I have ben moding a car TFT LCD to be used with my PC. Will put it in place of the PVI-800. If somone has a Touch buddy profile for just the PVI-800 at 800x600 res I would like to try it out whin/if I get the screan to work. Video below to be added.

I made this video and posted on youtube with Just puhs play for music. And they told my I hade to change it so I just grabed somthing to put on it from them. No BS background sounds. Verry un happy am I. And I am testing how the youtube wraps work. Can't get the wraps to work so here is the link.
