So I have cleaned out a room just for my pit. I plan on installing 2 projectors for a panoramic/curved view but for now I am stuch with a 22" game and a 19" other things. I prefer not to use a second screan for BS. in my pit I have 72 working switches connected to a KE72 keyboard emulator (PS2connector) and it works flawless. I have many other things that I want to do but for now this works. I am starting a new project converting a 8.4" TFT (desined to work in a car GPS) It has a DVI2 plug that caires the USB,VGA and AV1-3 Channels. I will convert ths TFT to go in the place of the PVI-800 using TB I will have alot more use of my pit. Here are pics of the pit in the room. still cleaning up a bit.

I would like to know your sorce as well. My pit with RS switches cost over $800. And I went the cheep rought.

Ok I finly ran BS on this setup and I am gitting 45-60FPS. The old CPU AMD x2 6400 was holding back the 8800gt. I am very happy with the new AMD PII 940 I did how ever bring the MH down to 3.79 to stablize the ram (kingston value ram) I know I need better. Will move to 1066 ddr2 whin I get a job agin.:huh:

dont use word pad for BS as it will corupt you file, use Notepad ++

So here is what I finly did for my rudders. I took my stering wheel peadeals and cut them down to fit inside the cinter console. cut some notches for the bolts to move in. and bolted it all down nice and solid. they work grrrrreat :thumbup: My next project it to mod a old X36 I have for a collective. I hope it works only as DX buttons and X axes

Hours of tinkering time: Priceless! ROFL I started a new project room just for siming. how out the room clean paint detail start to install pit and shelving <not here yeat move Pc equipment in and install fine tune find another project to do. :D

Thats a good point +1 on the TrackIR altho I use Freetrack and have just moded my sidwinder peadels in to my pit.

I need to know witch file I need to edit to turn off the FFB. I have the first Rus. version of the sim. My trim is not working And I think last time this fixed the problem.

The ships don't have a detailed damidge moddle Just like the tanks and ground units dont. Hoping for that in the next version of the game engin. supose to be out with the A-10 releas

DX10 means nuthing unless playing a DX10 game witch I thing he is not doing. Flight sims only Right bud. I would go with the 8600GT and with Ntune you can OC the card. Just go in small incroments and test wile watching the GPU temp. I added a extra fan in my case that points direttly at the vid card to keep cool air on, it Helps aloot.

I still have it But you cant program the mini stick or mouse button with it. (I use it as a mouse any way)

Boy I realy need to get a good chair to sit in for flying. The home made one I made is just not cutting it. O another thought I have a X36 I think I can mod to use as a colitive. This will have to wait as I am starting a room project going to be painting it in the next day or so then the move into it and figuring out how to set it up. I have a good Idea of what I want after seeing HitchHikingFlatlander room. So off to it I go.
