I think the problem is that the TM has a WAY too heavy of a stick that is made from cheap metal anyway. The F18 stick should cure all this and make it a nice combo with the WarBRD. I have the TM, the FSSB R3, the WarBRD and find I am using the WarBRD the most.

Just do exactly what jar the instructions State and you'll be fine
-
What do you do first when the tomcat is available? Install it. What else?
-
Budgie. Two words. Get it. It's awesome. You'll actually love using the slew afterwards. A bit pricey but worth it
-
Just fix the modules they currently have and I'll be happy!
-
No worries. Glad your enjoying it. I think I bust 50% less crates when slinging in the Uh-1 on the server I play in since I got the throttle and warbrd. :)
-
Let us know how it goes. I'm off this afternoon if you have any questions.

You'll love it. So smooth and precise. The software setup is archaic. There a YouTube video. Follow it to aT. Except I believe you there is a different PCB you use. You'll see what I mean in the top right corner. I'm not a home right now but if I remember when I get home I'll put on here which one to use

It's called making the connection between the two pilots sharing the cockpit peer to peer. They do it in P3d using vatsim and that dwarfs the 350 by 350 NM map we are in. Also try having 50+ other aircraft within 5 NM of your aircraft not to mention the other 1000+ on the network. So... It can easily be done

I had the same issue with the screw sticking out. If you just have it a bit more torque it goes in just fine.
-
Yeah that is what I did too

That's just it. That red piece of plastic doesn't protect you at all from jettisoning your stores. I can easily press the yellow button without any protection. That's what a cover is for. I have the Warthog too but I use it for fixed wing and the VPC for helo.

mdee. totally agree with the red/yellow thing. the red plastic piece that encompasses the yellow button looks goofy. it doesn't serve any purpose either. don't get me wrong though. awesome throttle. I can nitpick on anything if I get picky though

I got my WarBRD about a week ago. Love it. Bought their desk mount with it. Awesome addition. I don't know about using my TM stick with it though. Think it would feel way to heavy. Got the T50 stick and with the WarBRD it's so smooth and precise

Hey mdee. I got what your first post is about now. Except I think you mean to change the function of 28 and 29 not to "switch" but to normal. They were defaulted already to switch. So I put them to normal and it's working the way I would like them to. Thanks for you help bud

Oh for Freak sake. I was using VPC.CNT.V07 in the SET PCB top right. When I downloaded mdee's file I noticed his was V06 and I was like "Hey wait a minute". So I loaded VPC's V06 and now it works. See, this is the type of stuff that Isn't explained very well when using this software. So what is V07 for then?

Now I've taken the side panel off and the wires seem ok. NOW I am really confused
-
Think I found the problem. Flipped over the throttle and saw the wires. When I move the left throttle, these wires are getting pulled. https://www.dropbox.com/s/mvtdhozix7vczdb/20181028_174758.jpg?dl=0

So I was must have been messing around with something in the virpil software and not realized what I did. But now my button 1 and 2 (left pinkie buttons) are not being recognized. Is there a way to set the stick right back to factory default? Well I now clicked the reset device profile (go to factory default settings) in the device firmware update page and it still doesn't recognize these buttons. Is it just coincidence too that both these buttons are on the left throttle?

Mdee have you used joystick Gremlin? It has all the tempo/chain commands and lots more. I've been using it for a couple weeks and love it. Unlike the target script program I was using, with joystick Gremlin you can switch profiles on the fly too. I push numpad 1 for UH1, numpad 2 for AV-8 and so on. Love it
-
Not sure how to do all that. There is no instructions on how to use the software which is one of the downfalls of the virpil.

Hi all. As probably most of you are, I am very much enjoying the WarBRD base and Throttle. One thing I am having problems with, which you can hopefully change through their software, is the switched. For example, the T2 switch on the throttle. Right now I move it forward and it recognizes it as button 32 being pressed. I move it backwards and once again it recognizes it as button 32 being pressed. What I would like is to move it forward and button 32 as being pressed and when moving it backwards it recognizing it as being button 32 being released. So when you go to the virpil joystick tester tool I would like the 32 to light up when forward and to extinguish when moved backwards. NOW that being said when you open the software, click on the BUTTON tab on the left, then move the switch forward and backward it recognizes it was being 29 and 28 respectively. Why can' this stuff just be simple!!! lol

Mine arrived today. Installed it very easily. Like someone described the other night on a server.... Is a game changer. Thanks Damien!

Not so sure about that opinion
