Virpil Throttle afterburner detents (3D printed)
chief replied to SneakyBastd's topic in VIRPIL Controls
Nicely done -
I get this type of thing but with other switches and I am not using target.

Hey GMAN. If some help with figuring out anything on that R3 you could all myself or Supmua. Between us two I think we own everything under the sun

Hey all. I am trying to export my MFDs to external 800X600 screens. I can do it on a universal manner. But lets say I fit it for the A10, then jump in the AV8 or another plane, the MFDs sizing just doesnt seem right. Do I have to make a separate .lua file for each and every plane for it to fit properly? I don't want to me in a multi player server, then change aircraft and having to exit to main screen, change the lua monitor setup then join the multiplayer server again each and every time. I am guessing that each module has its own name for the MFD and I can put all of them into one LUA file. If they are all called LEFT_MFCD I guess I'm screwed huh

simply put, the FSSB R3 is awesome. like supmua said, its not for everyone

Apparently there is a lot wrong with it. For starter, it is behaving like the 120. Secondly it isn't an effective A2A weapons against maneuverable fighter. And when is the last time you seen a 54 go up to 80,000 and come down on its target. Havent seen it once in the hundred and hundreds of 54s I’ve seen fired. As well pitbulling off the rails? Not likely. I am "told" that heatblur has the correct modelling complete but ED won't use it

AIM-54 Just wondering when these are going to be fixed? Are they even being worked on? They are a joke as it is right now
-
Thx Voight for you view. Looking forward to getting the base. With some luck it will be here tomorrow
-
Well good to see they are keeping it alive. An update would sure be appreciated though
-
Hey Voight. Thanks this is exactly why I bought the CM2 base. I wanted to mount the F18 stick on it. I tried putting it on the WarBRD base but I found the WarBRD base just too floppy for such a heavy stick. How do you find the CM2 base for the F18 stick? Is it solid?
-
Didn't preorder the F18 or F16? I'm not worried. Credit card companies will protect and reimburse you for a product that never gets delivered.
-
Yeah, I'm afraid to say but this whole thing isn't looking too promising. Haven't heard a peep of what's going on. I know they might be busy but it only takes 5 minutes to give a quick update. There ALWAYS time for that no matter how busy they are. Then the Z-axis and extensions aren't even on their website for order as far as I can see. I think I'll be calling my credit card company in the very near future.

Will I've had the T50 grip, WarBRD grip, T50 CM2 grip, T50 throttle, T50 CM Throttle, 2 WarBRD bases (T50 CM2 base on its way) and haven't had a problem with anything as of yet. If I ever do, with the amount of $$ I have spent at virpil, I should hope I get to notch customer service if ever needed.

Thrustmaster MFD Cougar Pack - LCD Home Edition
chief replied to Speedbird696's topic in Thrustmaster
Hey Canadus. You say it won't fire up. How is it working if it's all connected and NOT plugged into the computer. Are you getting the blue display on the LCD and also can you bring up the brightness, contrast, etc menu? I have done this with my MFDs and it works pretty easily -
Hi nightstalker. Mine is on the way. I'm fact FedEx just called and said the fee was 32 cdn. So you can expect the same.

[REPORTED] Spectators can see red unit waypoints
chief replied to Skarp's topic in Bugs and Problems
This totally ruins the multiplayer. Knowing where all the enemies are coming from and going to makes the multiplayer experience as fun as watching paint dry. -
Best use of custom external MFD:s?
chief replied to Jax37's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Lol Rick. If you can just bear through the one guy (especially when he reminds me of Justin Trudeau) on the video I’d be watching this.... https://youtu.be/QQSYo_pC-QA -
EXACTLY. May as well have been a bomber if they werent maneuvering. According to an ex 14 pilot I chatted with they are highly over modelled in DCS

What I mean is this. Lets say I have my APU START ON. In joystick gremlin I have this assigned as button B. Now lets say I have my ENG OPER switch MOTOR assigned as button C. In theory if I moved my ENG OPER MOTOR switch (right one btw) to MOTOR I should only get a "C" stroke input. But sometimes when I have my APU START to ON (B) and I hold my ENG OPER at MOTOR ©, I will get an input as C+B when it should only be C. If I turn the APU START to OFF it functions normally. The APU START is splashing over into the ENG OPER MOTOR switch as well. I also get this when operating the A10 (No joystick gremlin). Sometimes when the APU is running in the A10 I got to start my right engine and bring the thrust lever to idle, it will shut down my APU. It splashes over into another assignment. I'm at a total loss why this is happening

Ah gotcha. No worries. I've got enough virpil products to keep me going. Looking forward to getting the T50 base. Take care!
-
Hey Cypher. Enjoying all the virpil products. Have quite a few of them. Have more coming. Just want to comment on the timeline. If virpil has a product “in stock”, 14 days seems pretty ridiculous for a processing time. Even 7 days is. If it’s in stock, most companies will have that out to you in a day or two if not the same day depending on what time of day an order gets to them. I just ordered a monstertech deskmount the day after I ordered a virpil t50 base. The desk mount arrived 2 days ago from overseas and virpil hasn’t even finished the “processing” end of things. Kind of slow, no?

Yeah me too. The past that had me concerned is I've been in this aviation business for over 30 years and I've never heard of the company. But that's why you pay credit card companies stupid amounts of interest. To protect you against fraud. Not saying this is fraud, but just saying AMEX has my back covered regardless.

Hi Winwing. Can we get an update even if it's a quick one please. Release month and haven't heard a peep. Thx
