Yeah, at the time I didn't know how to keep the f10 radio message on forever and couldn't find out where, but it gives you some interesting restrictions! :P I will defiantly think about using the text to speech in later missions, it would make the atmosphere so much more realistic. I used static units to give the impression that the drivers were away somewhere in a bar or something :lol: so they would not shoot back, turning of their ai would have been a better idea though. The weather is like the worst storm of hell! I had no idea that those parameters were like that, I just used the summer heat preset option and left it to do its thing. I was hoping that the pilot could use the f10 map (where I hid all the vehicles to make it just like a map) so they could use it as a map and plan to their own accord.

Hello! Personally, I love the F-5 and all the hard work Belsimtek have put into it. But I noticed in these early days of the plane, there are not very many mission. So I set out to make a few. So far I have only made 2 but keep in mind I have only been making missions for the last few months and these are the only ones I feel confident enough in to release to the public. Please tell me how bad it is! 1. Mig21 Interdiction. You have been scramble in the evening to interdict some mig21 in disputed territory. If they shoot upon you you may open fire on them, but we are currently tying to get them to communicate, we will advise you if they do not cooperate and then you can shoot them down! We have just received some intel from a citizen in Poti that there are some Btr-80s with no one manning them. We suspect they are sleeping or something. They will also tell you other pieces of information that could be useful to you. Once they are destroyed, Fox will tell you if you can RTB. Hello everyone! First off, I am relatively new to making missions and I have one question: Is there a way to if there is a SAM firing a missile in a trigger zone for it to do something (i.e. to tell the player it has fired). I understand how to make it say something but I have not found out what to put in the conditions to make it happen when a SAM has fired. Thank you for your time.

Yes that is true but they aren't detalied missions like what you can find in the single folder. Does it work?

It doesn't come with any missions so they didn't create a mission folder. Go to Mods/aircraft/F-5E/missions/ then create a folder called Single

Well, it was used to communicate with them but I am not so sure if it could detect them well.

The problem with the radar is mostly fixed and should not exist so it shouldn't really be held as something bad about the mirage.

Ok the Mi-8 isn't from the time but who really cares? From an educated standpoint they would be quite similar. There is a point in it not being in service (the ka-50) because, as aformentioned, it was likely ready but due to political reasons Russia did not order any.

I believed they changed it to a more realistic version with black shark and Mi-8 only on the red team.

At least it would sway people to join Red! :thumbup: But actually no, I would think that if this is all we have from ED at this point in time, we should make do with proper 80s style arsenals and just forget about it being balance. After all, war is about being the best pilot you can and not letting the technology get in your way.

True yes. In fact at around 15 m/s crosswinds all the hud symbology literally gets blown away by the wind so you can no longer see them!

I have watched through them and they are great! Very informative! One question i have though is how do you compensate for crosswinds in a low/no visibility environment? I saw that you didn't haved a large amount of crosswinds on the last video so I was wondering. Apart from that, well done! :thumbup:
