  1. Yup turning off oculus ASW fixed it for me. In game hit ctrl+1 on the numpad to turn ASW off and ctrl+4 on numpad to turn ASW on.
  2. I was wondering why the gauges acted the way that they do. I figured it was accurate but wasn't sure. Thanks for the info! I agree, the theme music is great!
  3. My bet viggen wins 35-30 Second bet fishbed wins 35-30
  4. Has anyone seen any difference in spotting while using Oculus Rift in 1.5.5?
  5. Thanks for that Mbot, very helpful.
  6. I have 2 HOTAS buttons mapped to Emergency all jettison button cover OPEN and Emergency all jettison. This way I can drop all my tanks with 2 HOTAS inputs, works great for surprise dogfights. Got caught one too many times with that darned jettison switch on. I considered just using 1 button for emergency jettison and just popping the emergency jettison cover off manually during startup so it's ready to go lol.
  7. The biggest problem I seem to have is determining how far away from the target I should be before beginning the roll in. Too far away and my pitch is too low, too close and pitch is too high/dive is too steep. Anyone have suggestions on roll in/slant range distances to targets needed based upon desired dive angle or how to determine when the roll in should begin?
  8. Do you guys think the boom and zoom, climb away tactics are going to work once the missiles are fixed and the F5 can start using it's missiles? Will the Mig be able to keep enough speed/climb rate over the F5 to be able to outrun/climb the missile?
  9. I'm confused about the Nevada map discount. I don't see any type of sale listed in the e-shop or under the special offers tab.
  10. Yeah, I'm using an X55 hotas with no pedals and experiencing the same issue. Very difficult to make the plane go straight again once I've used the NWS.
  11. Thanks QuiGon, that answered my question perfectly.
  12. Thanks for the responses! I guess I was just assuming that if a ground force was lasing a target for me to attack then I would need to know where the target is with some type of symbology so that the bomb release would be at least near the intended target. Maybe they would just use a talk on type attack and the jtac would give the pilot an idea of where the target is based off of landmarks or coordinates? I guess if the pilot was picking the target and requesting a ground lase it'd be easier but that just seems odd to me.
  13. Anyone know how the GBU12/HUD will work with buddy lasing? I'm assuming there will be some type of pipper/release indicator in the HUD. The HUD isn't very sophisticated though so I'm not sure how it's going to work. I didn't see info for that in the manual, just skimmed through it though.
  14. Isn't it a bit more complicated than that though? I thought the wind info given in the briefings wasn't set up properly for the A10. I think the metric units need to be converted to U.S. and the wind direction needs to be changed also. Altitude needs to be converted from meters to feet, m/s converted to knots and the wind direction given in the briefing is actually 180 degrees from what the CDU needs. If you have the Enemy Within campaign you can see that Baltic Dragon has made these conversions and put them into his briefings. I think this info is correct but someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
  15. Hey guys, I'm having an issue with mission #12 "one for all, all for one." It's probably the same bug, when I communicate with "anvil" to tell them to advance after I bomb the bunker, they will not respond. I am using FM 35 and my comms throughout the rest of the mission are fine. Does this sound like the same bug or am I doing something wrong?
