  1. Awesome! Will be trying this out very soon! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Hi, these profiles look great! I have a question though, do you still have to restart the game to switch profiles? I've always liked the idea of TARGET but have never invested the time, if you can easily switch in-game then this is a big winner!
  3. Hey all, I've put together some nice shots whilst on OC. been meaning to do it for a long time but only just gotten around to it. Enjoy!
  4. Mirk, bit of a request, I was wondering if there was an option for 2 or so more m2ks on each side since they are a nice multi-role but seem to have gotten very popular, especially since the winter sale. I know we've limited them to reduce the amount of aa but some of us also like to ground pound in them so would be awesome to have more. Is there any stats from the server to indicate what isn't being used perhaps so we could reduce this down? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Darksword I think you've missed the point here buddy, he was agreeing with a post I made where I said that if you are flying solo and dying all the time then learn from mistakes and or join us on ts... mirk has worked hard to balance the server and he continues to make everything available so we can all have fun. People like using amraams, people like dropping bombs mirk let's us do it all. There are servers out there that only allow certain weapon systems, if people hate it that much then they should question whether OC is for them. Tactics and SA are key to survival, we're not saying amraams are not op etc but if you learn you will know how to hide from them and gain the advantage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Hi, Firstly I think OC is the best server out there in fact other than blue flag which I go to for my serious play time OC is my home. I think the recent changes have done all we need for balance and air quake reduction. To go further will move this server away from the casual mix of training and warfare. People complain about amraams and others complain about the ETs. All I say I learn how to counter them and get better SA....No need for a debate just start using your brains to out think the other pilot. If you're flying alone and getting shot down all the time consider joining the teamspeak, there are several of us that are on there a lot and will happily let people join in with us and can offer advice if you're learning. Solo fly is fun but when so many people fly together you're gimping yourself if you go it alone I'd personally rather see mirk working on cool features like dynamic objectives rather than worrying about balance which is pretty much impossible when the server is there to cater for all aircraft. 7. I'll second this! whilst I like the fact this server is open for all and not what some see as a hardcore server I do think that the intention is for this server to be air quake. I nearly always fly CAP for people like Bert else otherwise they don't even reach target but the fact a pilot can go down and be back into the combat zone within a couple of minutes just ins't fair to those trying to do the objectives. We see it in servers like buddy spike whereby the FC3 planes start with 0 fuel which means they HAVE to spend time on the tarmac. I vote for something like this to be implemented which buys some time! It gets very demoralising when you know you have that 5-10 minute start-up and some one just comes in spams all their missiles, ejects and flies straight back in...if FC3 dont start empty then may as well run more hot starts (i do not think this is a good solution)
  8. Catch you soon dust! Safe trip! Don't forget twitch and join discord!!! :-) will add some more pics when I'm back in later Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Good Stuff mirk! I think you can set the speed limits with fair ease... its done on the VA server. Grats on the new work to! As for Maykop, it would be really nice to be blue again, as it gave more options for your flightplan and bugging out.. Also are we going to have the map rotation that was discussed many moons ago to have both of your awesome creations?
  10. Hi there, so after much thoguht I am leaning towards not using the TM Target software for my warthog. I've started looking into how to get the toggle switches to work in the f15 like they do in the A10. IE if the switch is off then the corresponding system is off. below is an example of one such configuration for the Electric Power Switch: {combos = {{key = 'JOY_BTN20'}} , down = iCommandPowerOnOff, up = iCommandPowerOnOff, name = _('Electric Power Switch') , category = _('Systems')}, whilst this does work, I have come across instances of this being reversed so , off = on and on = off. I believe this is down to the button being in the wrong position when the game is started. Is there a way around this to guaruntee that the button will be off in the off position and on in the on position? Also should I be editing the default.lua or creating a new one?
  11. I've had my warthog a few weeks now and i can 100% say I haven't spotted any quality issues with the product, (one arrived with a broken switch) but after getting a replacement i think that it had previously been opened, probably damaged and returned so i was just unlucky. Amazon had a replacement out the next day. I've also got friends that have used the x52 pro and new x56 and they love those to. If you want a heavy (not going to slide around), A10 stick then the WH is for you!
  12. Hi there, I'm in a bit of a debate around whether to use target or the builtin binding system for DCS. I like the "gimicky" features of target like the prinouts, really good for learning but I also like the native configuration for the a10c. I currently fly an f15, still getting into the game and have been using the target gui to set everything up. On the whole is works great but the toggles arent perfect. for example. I have the APU start button to turn on/off the electrical power. Now currently i've just set the APUON and APOOFF to do a key press each, nice until you crash get out of sync then on = off and off = on.... Testing out directly modifying the .lua file to something like this worked great! {combos = {{key = 'JOY_BTN20'}} , down = iCommandPowerOnOff, up = iCommandPowerOnOff, name = _('Electric Power Switch') , category = _('Systems')}, My question is, without knowing how to script in target is the behaviour of on/off achievable? and also if you swap planes, can you simply load a new profile whilst still in game to then get the new keybinds for that plane?
  13. Thanks Svend_Dellepude! browsed options and the little bugger FF was ticked! Who would have thought when you have a non FF stick aye?!? :) Looks to be working nicely now, that might explain some of the interesting takeoff/landings ive been having to!
  14. Hi There, I'm new to sims and recently started playing DCS and decided to start with the F15 as it seemed beginner friendly. I'm running a TM warthog and seem to be having issues with the trim in the F15. I've read posts stating that the CAS system means you do not need to trim but lots of other people saying yes you do and it does work. My problem is that if i fire a missile then the plane will be out of balance and I cannot seem to trim to correct for this. I've tried the bound keys on my TMWH and the keyboard commands but, both holding them down and continuously pressing. I've then tried the Kb commands in the P51 free plane and it worked just fine. Can anyone clarify for me if trim should be working in the f15c FC3 module? Thanks in advance.
