  1. *Sometimes* I am not seeing a missile countdown (to active, to impact) in the HUD on TWS AIM-120 shots. I am usually in the TWS AUTO mode when shooting. Is anyone else noticing this or know what is correct HUD info on these shots?
  2. Bankler's practice mission grades landings but on a 70 point scale, not military style.
  3. Surprised to hear this. I don't have the Tomcat but assumed it would be harder to trap because of no fly by wire.

    Thank you, Tholozor!

    TWS AUTO

TWS AUTO TWS AUTO provides automatic azimuth centering around the L&S target, but it does not adjust for elevation. Is this correct behavior or WIP? Bravo One asked this question last week without a response and agree with him that the lack of this function means extra radar management around the time you want to be shooting.
  6. Enjoying your case 1 training mission. Thanks!
  7. Not sure if this is accurate AGM65 behavior, but it has been this way for a while now in DCS.
  8. Agreed. On Persian Gulf, you have to change grid references at times between 40R and 39R.
  9. Not sure if this helps much, but I have noticed this issue on the A10C for a few months now, perhaps around the time that the GBU-38 was released on Open Beta for the Hornet.
  10. Emmy, thanks for providing that study-- great info. Found it curious, though, that each strafing run averaged only 17.4 rounds. My understanding is that gun runs on MBTs would be more like 200 rounds each, which would have likely improved these study results greatly. Any thoughts?
  11. I think we already have this feature.
  12. Lau88 looks to be fixed, but the GBU38s seem different. The window of release, between min and max range seems to be very small compared to historical DCS A10C behavior. Edit: I may have been seeing ghosts on the 38s. Last night on PG, they were acting fine, along with the 31s.
  13. Has anyone checked to see if these issues were fixed in today's OB update?
  14. The bug is back: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=239114
  15. Shadow commented on this in an older thread, but the old bug on outboard and inboard stations on the LAU88 is back as of OB 2.5.4.29585. AGM-65s launched from these stations are not corrected for their 90 degree rotation, causing the post-launch pop-up maneuver to turn into a flat crank and collision with terrain in nap-of-the-earth scenarios. You guys fixed it once already, so it should be fairly easy to correct it again, correct? Track attached. For reference, see threads: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=230671 and https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=231171 AGM65 LAU88.trk
  16. Thanks, Coff. Looks like it is working now. Appreciate the quick response.
  17. Trying to update to OB 2.5.4.29585 and the updater is consistently hanging on a file named Mods/aircraft/FA-18C/Missions/Single/Hornet 1989-Interdiction.miz. Years of fine operation; first time I have ever had a updater issue; no changes in software, anti-virus, or hardware on my end. Update Log attached. Would appreciate help. autoupdate_log.txt
  18. Thank you, ED, for fixing the issue. Back to pop-up attacks in the Hog!
  19. I *think* that means that the locked target is outside of the HUD FOV.
  20. Nice to see the community working together to make DCS better!
  21. Good to see that NineLine acknowledged the issue on a related post (https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=231171). The lofting maneuver has been confused by rail position on the LAU 88, meaning inboard and outboard stations are "lofting" sideways, making them useless for pop-up attacks. Thanks to Ramsay for uncovering the root problem. Track file attached showing the errant behavior. Launch sequence is Station 9: outboard, bottom, inboard, Station 3: outboard, bottom, inboard. 22. Use the P-19 for the search radar.
  23. "I can't open your tracks, loading bar don't load nothing, staying 0%..." That can happen when you try to replay tracks recorded in a different version of DSCW. You can reference my Tacview files if you want to see what happened in the tracks.
  24. We are respecting those limits. See tracks and Tacview files on related post: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=230671
