  1. In order to prove it, you'll need to install a previous version of DCS and do some comparisons. Because suspicions without evidence are of no worth.
  2. IMO it's not, but could be thought as somewhat iffy regardless - perhaps. In another unnamed sim ages ago, folks used to map their vertical trim on a slider and used that in a pinch in order to turn tighter. An exploit or not? Although it has to be said that you're using the controls available to you in a way they're used anyway instead of exploiting an obvious loophole, so there indeed is a difference there. Because their, ehm, engine damage model was more realistic than ours perhaps? ;)
  3. I'd guess it's too hard on the engines and/or the APU and thus prohibited. Shortens the MTBF considerably.
  4. So you got hit by flak - yes, they reach that high - and wonder what happened?
  5. Thanks Shahdoh for the explanation about the vid. And mind you all, I'll defend LW crates against such BS as above just as vehemently as well, because the principle of the claim of the devs being biased against X/Y/Z since they're "clearly" or "obviously" A/B/C is equally laughable in any case.
  6. Oh, I see it's actually YOU who got triggered. So sorry about that. :D Oh, and please by all means do read up on ad hominem so you know what it means. My comment was aimed at you as a group repeating those same old biased opinions - Red or Blue, it doesn't matter - but definitely not at any individual, and I never attacked anyone personally, and much less their personal attributes. So would you please read up on it and get back to me? PS. And incidentally - unlike you, I never insulted anyone personally by calling them "boy" or by any other pejorative. So please, do read up on ad hominem since you clearly cannot even tell when you're practicing it yourself.
  7. Not in the slightest. I'm just laughing at ya because I've heard this same old cretinous whine countless times before, and it's as idiotic now as it has always been. And never mind if you're flying Red or Blue, because it's always the OTHER guy who's got the advantage due to the devs being on HIS side. F*n-A riiiight
  8. So the devs intentionally borked all German planes and made all Allied A/C unrealistically capable? LMAO  This same BS whine (and a vice-versa version of it as well) is as old as combat sims themselves, and as garbage here and now as always. So c'mon whiners, pleeze, we've heard that bleat before, so go change that damn record because you scratched it in 1995 already
  9. Yeah, I may have been too low as well now that I think of it. It was perhaps a bit of border case, but possible nonetheless. So case closed hopefully.
  10. Maybe all German 500kg bombs are broken now? Because I dropped an AB500 the other day and it was a dud, and I'm pretty certain I armed it properly.
  11. +1 Absolutely agree with both of you gents. S!
  12. And you don't seem to understand that Fockes can't really turn without bleeding lots of speed. So you b'n'z, skillful and challenging or not. Because what's the alternative? To give them unrealistic turning abilities, because gamers wanna game?
  13. OK, thanks. Maybe it's just me then.
  14. Openbeta. Haven't run stable in ages.
  15. OK, did a test flight where I took off from Creech on a zero-centigrade winter day. Took her up, did a power dive, then pulled Gs through an Immelmann. Fired the guns all through the maneuvre. Repeated. Result: no gun jams experienced.
  16. Excellent! Do report back please.
  17. No clue, but I was going at full bore and pulled until the thing was shaking and I almost stalled. But I do want to test this again just to see if something has changed that I haven't noticed.
  18. Done that, no jam.
  19. I fly both the Dora and the Anton regularly, and no, I haven't experienced this yet. Granted, I'm a groundpounder and thus stay in the weeds, so I've no idea if they perhaps freeze in low temperatures high up or something; but regardless, I've haven't had a single jam yet. Could this somehow be a high-volume MP thing? I've no clue, since I mostly do singleplayer and (formerly) small PvE mission hosting.
  20. This is just a hunch, so I'm not claiming anything or asking for any fixes per se. Still, it feels as if the Anton's controls are more sensitive now, and takeoffs f.ex. seem more challenging because it's so easy to overcorrect now. Have you noticed anything, or is it just me?
  21. Again, no tangible evidence from anyone, just idle talk.
  22. Haven't flown much lately, but these 2 simple groudpounding missions I flew today were OK at least. The AI found their routes and stayed on them to the last waypoint, so the latest patch indeed seems to have fixed something.
  23. Same. The Anton runs as well (or as bad, depending) as the others on my rig too.
  24. If you fly the Dora, you don't turnfight, ever. Whereas if you fly the DCS Spit, you're too late in the war for any boom-and-zoom. Draw your own conclusions about what - or, rather, who - is the probable culprit here, rather than blame ED for erroneous modelling, of which you don't seem to have any tangible evidence anyway.
  25. She absolutely is not, unless you use wrong tactics against them. In which case the problem is you, not the plane.
