requested Knobs very sensitive when controlled by joystick buttons
horus-DCS replied to lmp's topic in Bugs and Problems
ABRIS knobs sensitivities can be fixed by editing gain values in clickabledata.lua. But the trick doesn't work for NS430. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I think this is a good idea. Please DEVs, consider this option! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
SU-33 refueling FBW augmentation/dampening
horus-DCS replied to Baz000's topic in Su-33 for DCS World
Don't get me wrong, I didn't tell trimming is not to be used at all. Of course pilots do trim whenever they want to. I'm just saying those other planes don't fight the pilot's input so much @ AAR mode like Su-33(at least in the latest stable version). Thanks for the explanation. Now I consider it's a Russian style :music_whistling: -
SU-33 refueling FBW augmentation/dampening

I've read the news too. It means the system wasn't complete... It is a good news but the AAR AP system is still annoying feature for me. If it doesn't fight pilot's input like that, I don't even need the trimmer in the first place. I(and most of the pilots also) usually do AAR in A-10C, F-15C, M-2K smoothly, without any trimming. -

I don't care how you think about the system, why Russians implement it, whatever. I'm just curious about HOW TO TURN THAT OFF. -

So, is there a way to turn this AP mode off? I just don't need AP for AAR. Why should I use a system which is making control more difficult? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Got it. Thanks. And also your profile is very useful. I'll copy this one! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How do you use the knobs? They are too sensitive to control with physical switches, only work properly with a mouse wheel scrolling for now.

Knobs very sensitive when controlled by joystick buttons Same here. The display has been exported on the external monitor and the cougar MFD is doing its job for controlling switches...except these L/R knobs. I know the trick tweaking gain parameters in clickabledata file, and it definitely make the rotation slow, but it's still too fast at the minimum working value. Under the value the knobs won't rotate at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I have a question before buying it. Is it possible to make some specific target points manually in this device? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Introducing the VKB-Sim ‘Modern Combat Grip’ (MCG)

I would select the printed one. It looks beautiful. And the labels are also useful for the memorization of 'which is which'. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Will 'base-only' option be available someday? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Interesting. Is the GF stick good enough for the force-sense fans? I've been a big fan of FSSB over ten years, and never found any advantages of conventional gimbals...so far. Now I'm intersted in VKBs, I'd glad to hear more impressions or reviews from actual force-sense controller users. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Elgato Stream Deck as configurable button box
horus-DCS replied to Ranma13's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Elgato Stream Deck as configurable button box I forgot to say thank you for the latest answer. I, a big fan of Ka-50, really like this panel! By the way I found some hidden switches(like WP~NAV/TGT line in PVI), is it possible to activate them? I'm not a software guy so don't know how this works... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I am the only one who went back to the flat monitor? haha. My VR experience started from the old rift DK1, and I've been using CV1 for about an year, but I much prefer 144hz ultrawide monitor with external button boxes and MFDs setup to VR setup for some serious MP missions. This setup still give me the most effective and precise controllability. Of course VR has superb immersion factor but that's it. Then my CV1 is only for solo fun flight. So called 'VR make it much easier' skills, like refueling, formation flight, hovering..these don't matter to me in the flat monitor. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Elgato Stream Deck as configurable button box
horus-DCS replied to Ranma13's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
At first, thanks for your information. I've got the button box finally and install everything else but I got an error message "not found : git" at the final step to install dcs-stream-deck-ka50. Is there no way to fix it for now? -

Hi I want some cargo objects in ME to be placed in random position, but the teleport/respawn functions for the cargos don't seem to work properly. Those functions always work like 'clone'. I think it happens for all static objects. Is this normal?

Hi, I need help about the message field(not a radio menu, only for the text messages). Is there any way to adjust its position? Now it shows on the top-right corner of primary display, I want to move the field to somewhere on the left side. Is it possible? Thanks in advance.
