I was thinking "why didn't the developers just add these "updated" templates with the update? rather than make us place them in the DCS folder? I finally bothered to track down the original announcement: DEC 16 2016 the Developers said:" "We uploaded the new layered PSD templates that you can use to create your own textures for F-86F, MiG-15bis, Su-24M, Su-24MR and Su-33 models. Also C-101 template for creating textures was updated by AvioDev. You can find them all in our Texture templates DCS site section" :pilotfly::D:D:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::doh::doh: :megalol::megalol::megalol::megalol::megalol: Here I RACKING my brain trying to figure out how the heck I was going to install these " NEW" textures thinking they were some "UPDATED" view of the planes.!!! It would be nice if these files came with a quick "README" file so I didn't do that , thinking something it isn't ..... When others download a map, Campaign, mission ect , I look for a readme file that says" DCS WORLD:/A: put the file/in/ here/ example, but it never happens...... It would be so quick to do, and wouldn't muddle up the forums with Dumb questions!!!! In closing: If we are going to have a download section, and you place your download in the files to be downloaded be others ( because you wanted to share your awesome creation) Why not include a quick note "README" file!!!! ?????????????????????????? I will try out the TM WH. while flying the F5E Tigger II... It has the same Throttle "bump" as the A10c so it should work the same way??? I can see how easy it would be for the game to get confused with the settings on the controllers, as there are MANY BUTTONS and sliders on this setup.... I am going to make a pair of rudders, than pay 500$ for a Slaw pedals, or the other ones. As I am saving for a 38" Ultra wide Acer monitor.

Wow... I have had this issue come up as well... I was going to post about it... but I now see it is this post as well!.... I went as far as looking in the controller config w/in the game and was going to start taget program for the TM. WH.... but PAIN IN THE ASS>....MHO!...

NO link for the software? The one issue I have not overcome... Is that the T.M. throttle has the "turn off engine" stage but when placed forward, it doesn't "START ENGINE" on the A10C in DCS. Also the game doesn't allow it to be configured "in game" as it see's no button/switch/axis movement or even offer the option to select or change the "ALT + Insert" or "CTRL +Page UP" for the "off" or "idle" by using the dual throttle like it would be used in "REAL LIFE/ or Sim" I checked in the windows and it sees the button assigned but doesn't correlate the button and the "off to Idle" movement of the Thrustmaster Worthog dual throttle.

What one? The "squeaky, flatulent" one? Honestly don't know which way they're supposed even sound is I've never been in an 810 before a real one anyway

Perhaps in this game not syncing all cores would help with heat when over clocking. 45,44,43,42mhz. I Unfortunately, when I do that on mine it makes it goofy for placing the values and I get confused :helpsmilie:..,, so I just place mine at 4.5- 1.2686 volts and call it a day with my i7 4700k. I am going to sell it and get the last updated processor before having to switch MB's. Forgot what it was called but runs at 4.3 ( I think or 4.4) MHz w/o overclocking. To be honest, it is very disheartening, to hear this info about this game/sim. I would purchase double the price or triple if it would utilize crossfire and the cores more appropriate! Screw " free" game. Give me greatness and I will pay for it gladly.

What's likely won't happen but I wouldn't mind at all if they said we're going to have a version 2, of the 10c. in fact they could just do a mod specifically with the electronics and just charge for that upgrade. There is a lot of differences they could make but I don't know if they will.

Okay I went and moved them. I changed the location in the "shortcuts" and it works. I have not played it yet, only checked to see if it would launch. -------------------------------------------------------------- RUdel--- you make a good point though..... I do not want to deactivate them, because the last time I did this it caused major messup. What happens if the software goes into (stolen/copy) mode??

Here is the question: I have 1.5 and 2.0 on my spin drive. Want to move them to SSD How do I edit the paths in the registry? It isn't just updating the shortcuts on the desktop? I have to go into the windows registry and find it? I have No Idea where it is in the registry. Please help. Thank you

I agree that 2.0 uses the GPU cards more effectively, but don't you think the Desert is less of everything, comparted to a never ending forest, ocean, mountains ect. in 1.5? Perhaps I am missing something (just trying to understand, as I am not an expert by any means)

I have found that Older Tech will run better on the G-force cards. What I mean by that is this: G-force has legacy drivers that just work good. AMD, never bothered to fix there issues when they purchased ATI. 1.5 bottle necks huge and is Processor bound .... and sees no benefit from newer video cards. if there is, it is very little. 2.0 uses the GPU card much more effectively. But still doesn't have 2-card rendering which is too bad, as 2-high end cards running in 4k is magical. This is also a big consideration with VR!. The only reason I still fly 1.5 is because it has missions and online play, otherwise I would not run it at all. I have Radeon Fury X R9 and is over run for take off when 8 vrs 8 in 1.5. (again it is 2 big reasons why) In 2.0 Navada with 8 vs 8 or more... so far I have no issues like in 1.5 with the Fury X. @ $310.00 per card, I though I would try it. As it has very close results to the 980 TI when utilizing the 4k output. Says the results from different testers. I have yet to purchase a 4k monitor. That will be next.

It sounds like some of these "bricked " systems could be caused by the USB not recognizing the throttle. I would like to ask if the throttle was plugged into a different USB port prior to having a "bricked" system. I thought I had an issue with my track ir but it was fine. Only needed to go in regedit and delete the track IR software ( even though I had already done this in windows the file remained after anyway. One I did that the trackIR worked great and would power up within the software. Prior would not.

Thank you for the help is able to put the wind and temperature in. but I did notice that when I use the laser at Paveway style bombs did not follow the laser. answer should be noted that I'm not supposed to use those in that campaign as it's not supposed to be one that's available. I'll try it with the bombs you're only supposed to use and see if I have better results . (By the way I'm doing speak typing I'm not typing, so if spelling/ grammar is off, that's why.)

Yes... the AI are a bit out of reality... I am having issues with my Axis flight sticks.... both the VBK and the Saitek controllers have been VERY difficult to use smoothly... like a ON.OFF feeling.... Messed around with all kinds of Axis tuning in the DCS game and still not much better... The spit in particular makes shooting down any AI a real issue.. Just a few odd things happen to me today... Sorry if off tropic... :cry: I must have been on a marshmallow stick?

I don't know if I input something wrong (I left the neg degrees ones blank because I didn't know how to get a beg number it the temperature slot)w bombs were so far off it was horrible when I did the campaign enemy within...so I'll have to see . I couldn't get the laser moms to work properly

So after I type in 032 ( in the degrees/temp area) I presss what key? Is that key called lsk? Or is it the input button twice? I hope I making that clear. Another words I think I just type the number in and then hit the number on CDu that I normally click, but instead it twice? I will try when I get back from walking the dog:thumbup:

I realize this is old thread but useful.... But... HOW DO I ENTER A NEG. number?? Like -3 deg Celsius or -39degrees Celsius?

Do I just download the file and place in Modded cockpit? Or is it already a option in my options for cockpit? I just looked in the special area and placed the "English" cockpit options and ... Thank you soo much.... I now have the option to learn Russian when I want to and at my own pace... I have not flown any Heli's in DCS up until the Christmas sale ( purchased them ALL except the Gazzell) So it was a game changer for me to have an English option... As I said before and all are aware... no mouse cross hair to convert to English Having it all English is very very NICE..... THANK YOU >>>>>..........

That's great to hear. we don't have too many of those guys left anymore (that have actually been around the airplanes of World War II). let alone men that have been in World War II. I hope he lives the best life he is able to live to the very end!

That's awesome! Does it actually work with DCS though or does it to I need some fiddling to make it work better in the future?

Been having one heckuva time Id-anybody or even realizing a bird was even there in the ski with me, until I found out that there is a setting in my ViewSonic monitor to turn it to better refresh rates and dynamic contrast... it's the 27 inch that claimed it was one that was 1mili/second but I found that if you actually turn it to 1 ms it's actually horrible so you have to do the advanced setting (. Still much much better than the other) was a huge help like night and day difference. And this is just a basic 1900 x 1080. What I'm trying to say is it's interesting and just how reconfiguring a few things even with out changing any hardware can make a big difference. The VR mass are pretty awesome but I'm not gonna get those yet. I haven't even experienced the ultra wide curved HD monitors

You would have to have 2-licences of the navada map to run on Multi-ply? Otherwise purchase the map.... you will be happy you did... and any TRUE DCS fan would HAVE TO HAVE IT>:smilewink: Trying to understand..?
