A-10C Tactical Training Qualification Campaign
dporter22 replied to Sabre-TLA's topic in A-10C TTQ Campaign
Just tried the mission again with the same results. All armor is killed successfully, Ford is cleared and then receives the BDA, Uzi tells me it's time to head to the egress point and then tells me I'm clear to RTB, but when I pass WP 7 he tells me I've exited without authorization and failed the PO. F10 has no options to request clearance. -
A-10C Tactical Training Qualification Campaign
dporter22 replied to Sabre-TLA's topic in A-10C TTQ Campaign
My F10 menu doesn't have an option to request clearance, it just has a 'Copy' option. All the main kills are completed before playtime is over. Sometimes I've cleared Ford before, sometimes after, same result. -
A-10C Tactical Training Qualification Campaign
dporter22 replied to Sabre-TLA's topic in A-10C TTQ Campaign
Every time I attempt TAC 18 it tells me that the PO is terminated because I've exited without authorization. I've completed the SADL tasks successfully, cleared Ford flight, he tells me playtime is over and to head to the egress point, so I head back to WP7 which is the next waypoint in the plan, but passing WP8 the PO gets terminated. I tried heading directly to 8 and 9 and 10, all with the same result. Please help. -
Most of the missions in this campaign don't have a wingman.

It's fixed. Mission success.

Maybe a dumb question but does this campaign work with the recently released 2.5.2? The requirements on the DCS website say you have to have 1.5 installed, so I just wanted to check before purchasing that what worked in 1.5 now works in 2.5.2. -
I'm unable to complete the mission also. Uzi and Ford don't take taskings, and there are no comm options for Pike and Maple. I get the message that Pike and Maple are standing by, but after that there are never any options to tell them to move, so they never do.
-
Thanks. I'm using the release version 2.5, will it be fixed in that version or only the beta?
-
Ok. When is the next update?

Has anyone completed the "On Duty" mission? What happened after you eliminated all the targets? What should I be looking for?
-
It's a long mission so I didn't record a track, but if I had it would show taking off, getting instructions to eliminate all threats after steerpoint 3, killing 4 vehicles (the AGM-65Ds won't lock any targets in this mission in 2.5 btw), reporting destruction of those vehicles, getting instructions to RTB then getting instructions to rearm/refuel, rearming/refueling, returning to the same area and killing every target, no more instructions, RTB, still nothing. What am I missing?
-
How to complete "On Duty" mission Have followed all instructions, destroyed every target, and landed back at the base in the "On Duty" mission, but it never tells me I've successfully completed the mission and won't allow me to progress to the next mission. What am I doing wrong, or is "On Duty" the last mission and there's nothing to indicate that the campaign is over?
-
I was trimmed, so the only thing I can think of was that maybe the speedbrake wasn't 100% closed. Even with PAC2 working I still can't finish the included campaign though. In the mission where you have to destroy all the vehicles in the village (mission 13 or 14 I think), after I've done so and landed it never says the mission is complete.
-
Of course when I went to record a track to post, it didn't do it anymore. Not sure what the issue was previously or what changed.
-
Ok, will try to post a track after work today. Yes, I read that post also but didn't understand why you would need a script to the NWS button for a function that the manual says is automatic with trigger pull. And there is no assignment for PAC2 in the controls manager, it just has Fire Gun assigned to the trigger.
-
Yes, have tried the keyboard. Same pitch up. Fighterstick trigger is not dual stage, so PAC1 is engaged with a button, is correctly indicated on the HUD, and is actively holding the pipper on the target when I fire the gun. As soon as I pull the trigger the nose pitches up. The trigger is assigned correctly in the control settings afaik since the gun fires, but there is no PAC2 activation.
-
I don't have a video, but if I did it would just show what I described. There's a you tube video called DCS A-10 PAC - no PAC; his no PAC is what mine does with PAC. Everything is set correctly afaik, but the nose pitches up when the gun fires. Same thing happens when I don't engage PAC1, or turn off SAS, or switch to Gun instead of Gun/PAC, or any combination thereof.
-
Can't get PAC2 to work. EAC is on, SAS is on, Gun/PAC is on, speedbrake is off, PAC1 is engaged, but when I pull the trigger the nose pitches up several degrees and all the rounds miss. The manual says PAC2 engages automatically when the gun is fired but mine doesn't. Using CH Fighterstick. Have searched the forums. What am I doing wrong?

How to map Long Press in controll options?
dporter22 replied to Stertman's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
That's unfortunate. Since the sim allows long and short press functionality you'd think they would have allowed that functionality in the assignment GUI. If anyone can explain exactly how to do it with Control Manager, or direct me to some instructions, I'd appreciate it. -
Cold Start, Off-Idle Problem with CH Pro Throttle
dporter22 replied to jens198's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
I had the same problem and for me it was just that I had to make sure I was holding the throttle firmly all the way back while pressing RALT Home. The sim was registering any microscopic forward position of the throttle as not being in idle cutoff and therefore wouldn't allow engine start. -
How to map Long Press in controll options?
dporter22 replied to Stertman's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
Has anyone found a way to assign long press actions for a CH Pro Throttle and/or CH Fighterstick using the in-game A-10C GUI? It would be nice if you could simply long press a button to assign a long press function, but it only registers short presses. So how does the sim know that TMS Up Long is Make SPI if the GUI only allows it to be assigned as HOTAS TMS Up without any distinction between short or long? What if for some reason I wanted TMS Up Long to be something besides Make SPI? Bottom line, I want to assign long press functions to buttons and hats that don't already have a long press assignment, such as Coolie Hat Up Long, without the hassle of scripts or CM Manager which (for me) always end up causing problems/conflicts. Impossible? (Yes, I've searched this forum and the CH forums. If there's already guidance somewhere that I missed please let me know.) -
Requirements for A-10C vs. ground unit coop?
dporter22 replied to dporter22's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
Thanks Wrecking Crew, but I don't think what you're describing is my issue. My issue is how to edit an existing mission so that the CA player can control ground vehicles if the Client option is not available in the skill level list. Any ideas? Or rather than bothering all of you, is there a step-by-step somewhere that will explain all these things for new users?
