Thanks for your reply, Flyingscotsman and SkateZilla. The thing is that under my \Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\ there is no subdirectory named "\Liveries\FA-18C_Hornet" to copy the skins to. In the directory where ED installed DCS.openbeta\Bazar there is a "Livery\f_a-18c" wich is where I have been copying the liveries I have downloaded for the Hornet. So, should I create a subdirectory "\Liveries\FA-18C_Hornet" to copy the skins? Please advice. Thanks again gentlemen, for your help with this problem. Cuco Negron San Juan, P.R.

Hi, not a newby, but very old and somewhat stupid. I have tried to install a couple of liveries for the Hornet found in ED's site. The authors said to install them in: /Saved Games/DCS.<Install>/Liveries/FA-18C_hornet/, I assumed <install> means "DCS Worls openbeta". I have been installing a few skins for the UH-1H and for the P-51D and I have allways installed in C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Bazar\Liveries\ and then UH-1D P-51D and f_a-18c for the hornet. Then, when I go to the Mission Editor, the Hornet's newly installed liveries are not there. Anybody has any clues as to what I've been doing wrong? Because I don't know what I'm doing... wrong!!! Hi: I tried to create a 'mission" this morning and when I try to fly it, all I can see is the Nevada map, no airplane, no nothing, just the map of Nellis I used to create the mission. Yesterday, I created a few "do nothing" missions and the worked fine. BTW, my "missions" are the "try to depart, try to fly around and then try to land" kind of missions. I only use the P-51 and the UH-1H mostly in Nevada. I have created a lot of such "missions" with 1.5, 2.2 and with 2.5 without any problems. So, there must be something I'm doing wrong here. Well, Art and MadDog, deleted the Mission Editor folder, repaired Open Beta, and it worked like a charm. All I have to do now is relearn how to fly the Huey again, it's as difficult as always. Thanks again to Foxfire, Art-J, and MadDog-IC, Cuco Negron San Juan, PR

Hi: Installed DCS 2.5 and had a little problem because it wouldn't recognize my password. changed it and it worked. Loaded 2.5 a couple of times, tried to create a mission with the Mission Editor, but I couldn't select anything with the mouse, so I gave up for the day. Today I tried one more time, it shows the initial screen with the blue bar below, it goes up to 57%, then nothing happens, I wait 15 to 20 mins and then I have to use the three finger salute to quit DCS. At least I didn't remove 2.2 OA from my comp and I can still use it. Anybody has any suggestions as to what this problem is about and a way to work around it? Please. Well, at least you guys get to see the game opening! When I start 2.5.0 Open Alpha all I see is the opening screen with a DCS and a bar below stuck at 57% and then nothing happens untill I finaly give up. Suggestions? Cuco Negron San Juan, PR

Hi, had a lot of problems updating, but finally was able to do it. Now, I cant log in to DCS 2.5! I tried changing the log in but when I do, it woul not recognize the new password. So, I dont have DCS any more. Any body has had something like this happen that can suggest what the blip to do. I have already tried knitting and didn't like it. Please help.... Noob here, Just yesterday purchased the P-51 and I love it!! Read here that there is a way to repair or repair by ground crew? I ave no idea as to how to do this. Anibody care to explain how or better yet, tell me where to find info to do this, please? Cuco San Juan, PR
