I think the best way to simulate this is with cables/linkage, these aircraft were not Fly By Wires, so design your throttle with that in mind, would actually be easier that way IMO Marc..

Was lucky with my controllers, Suncom Hotas and Saitek x45, siming since 1995 , retired the Suncom because of the game port issue then I got the X45, used, great hotas no issue at all and still working great, bought extra ones for back up but I didn't have to used them, they're collecting dust With all the new hardware out there, I'm building my own, like I like them from my retired Suncom Marc..

Just add some ram and lower the setting until you get a new rig Marc..
