Not even seen it but I pretty much lost interest anyway after return of the jedi , things got a bit silly and the spark died along with the story line the acting the direction , its a shame that most kids nowadays will never experience the cinematic phenomenon that we did in the 70's Cheers Jafa

You can only use one or the other if you want to hear the sound as I designed them , this due to the spitfire and mustang sharing a lot of the files , this is how ED has designed it to work not me. This is a stand alone sound mod not just the P51 sound transferred to the spitfire. Cheers Jafa

Go into my mod and follow path - SOUNDS/SDEF/WEAPONS...AND DELETE FILE "MissileLaunchIn" . this should give you original in game sound back. Cheers Jafa

Ok thanks , ive looked into it already , with original sound its just an increase in volume and not much , not some hidden SDEF that I missed, never noticed it my self as ive never used war power. Cheers Jafa

Noise distortion has more to do with sensor than lens , so you dont sound like much of a photographer to me and yeah you are being very rude , every one here is entitled to make there requests , its up to ED to decide weather its wast of time or not-not you. Thats a great idea Jafa

Visually there is no denying that 2.2 is a vast improvement over 2.1 , even the wip clouds , cotton buds that they are look more natural and usable that the slices of bread we had before , for me the only real disappointment is the new distant sounds , I feel as if a child was given the task of adding these and in the process "plane far noise" has been cut and also "plane back engine" is now set at a constant volume the latter meaning your engine is roaring at full power or roaring at idle , the one thing DCS jet aircraft desperately needed was more audio strings which seems to have been done but in the process others have been taken away . Thats a great idea. Jafa

Tested both the wav and ogg files in audition , both are working fine , I did notice that both files were 32bit 11025 hz mono , you could try converting them to a more standard 16bit 44100 hz and see if that works , if you dont have the software to do this let me know and ill do it for you. I've made several posts over the past year regarding several issues and no one from the dev side has ever replied and I dont expect they will now , I also expect to see the same issues get pumped into DCS2.2 when it gets updated on Friday this week or whenever. Basically all the work I've done on redesigning the jet sounds has been ruined and mostly because "Plane far noise" linked to speed and throttle has been turned off and replaced by a bunch of sounds only linked to speed , so with your throttle off your engines still sound like there at full power. Thats a great Idea Jafa

Here we go again, Ive seen this time and time again over the years , its pointless , if someone wants to hack or steal from us the customers or ED themselves there is no security system that cannot be hacked or broken this has been proven many times before , all it will achieve is endless complaints and arguments , I travel allot and have spent weeks and longer without any internet connection - not everyone lives in the heart of NY/PARIS or LONDON :helpsmilie: Just my two cents...
