@Mysticpuma try reading the installation instructions. It doesn't say copy the folder does it.. What kind of project are you working on that requires you to have my textures installed?

I'm working on a 'Low 'n' Slow' version for Helicopter Pilots using source images taken at 1000 ft. Slow progress but should be able to show some screenshots over the next few days. My original textures used source images taken at 4000 ft. The new set will be more generic like the original textures. Sneak peak at original size attached.

Thanks for your help but you can only change the vertical position! I tried a few things but nothing really worked properly. It looks like ED haven't implemented a H Position variable that is user editable.

Lower the contast value in the Sweet FX settings.

It's assigned via Logitech Profiler. Every time I move the Throttle, F is held down and released when I stop moving. Just like how a real collective brake would work. Nice mod by the way :)

Hi Peter, Your Unchain Rudder Mod does not work in 1.2.6 (it breaks Auto Start Up) ED have changed some parameters in the lua files that you edited. Could you please update it when you have the time. Thanks, Toby

I figured out the problem. I use PeterP's Unchain Rudder Mod via JSGME and that stops the Auto Start working in 1.2.6 We need to wait for that Mod to be updated.

Active Pause doesn't work either. The only cheat that noticeably works is Active Shut Down (LWin+End)

I've tried everything. I don't know what to do. Can anyone else help?

If I understand you right, you mean that the difference between the DCS stock textures and mine is noticeable? I've been trying to create textures for towns and villages too but it's not as simple as it sounds. For some reason they display differently to the terrain noise so it's very hard for me to get them to match.

It's attached to the Collective and the pilot cannot set a new position for the Collective, ie assign a new altitude, without depressing the Collective Brake. By assigning it to the left throttle (on my split throttle), every time I move the collective, the Collective brake is activated, simulating real life. Read here for more info about why.

I use the G940 and have to use the Logitech Profiler to assign 'F' to the Left Throttle for Collective Brake. This messes with every other module in DCS World. Please consider adding Collective Brake to Axis Commands so that I can bind it ONLY for the Ka-50. Thank you.

Clean install, I even removed the Saved Games DCS folder which contains the bindings. I must be doing something wrong as this is the 4th time I've reinstalled and it happens every time.

Since updating (clean install) to 1.2.6, Cheat>Auto Start (LWin+Home) doesn't work any more in Black Shark 1.2.6? If I rollback to 1.2.5 it all works fine but I would like to stay on 1.2.6 and not spend all night re downloading 1.2.5 patch. Any ideas? UPDATE 13/09 ----------------- Problem Solved. PeterP's Unchain Rudder Mod is not 1.2.6 compatible. Auto StartUp works fine without this Mod enabled.

Just found this online. A photo of the older Shkval monitor that this mod simulates.

Open your Sweet FX Settings and edit line 270 like in the attached picture. I haven't tried this but it should work. It sets Screenshot to Scroll Lock.

Bloom can cause this. I don't know why. Set Bloom=o and try again. Try with nothing activated and then activate 1 at a time until you have what you want.

You will only need to replace my textures. Sweet FX is untouched as it's not a core DCS file.

I would never knowingly recommend something with a virus in it. I use the files that I linked to and I use ESET, one of the best anti virus programs around. False positive I guess.

Thanks Geert, I'm glad that so many of you are enjoying it! Spend some time with the Sweet Fx settings, you can Alt+Tab out of DCS and change the settings and then go back to the game to see your changes, no need to restart every time. And don't forget, every Repair or patch or update will replace my textures with the stock ones, so you'll need to copy them back.
