  1. Then you might have the wrong tower. Destroyed it many times. Stopped transmiting every single time.
  2. Why won't you just modify it for your own needs?
  3. It IS an axis. I see no reason why it couldn't work as a rudder. Will try as soon as I can. That's also correct.

  5. Yes, when you want to just press that button (once). Problems start when you want to hold it and want to hold two buttons at once. Despite other problems this reason is enough for me to assign keys in game.
  6. Thottle
  7. Then it's time to upgrade your profile editor ;)
  8. Converted to decimal. 42'10"27 would be 42 + 10/60 + 27/3600 (I think)
  9. If you're using Clip, TIR should turn off it's own IR automatically and warn you if you want to reanable them by hand (don't remember where the option for it is, can't check now). Anyway, they are visible as 4 squared red lights on TIR itself, if you don't see them, then there is nothing to be worry about then.
  10. Make sure to change to Track Clip Pro in settings. It needs to be explicitely enabled otherwise weird things happen. By emitters you mean leds on Clip? No, you can't turn them off and there is no reason to do so, they're required for it to work. Make sure you don't have any light source from behind you in view of TIR. It pauses if that happens.
  11. It was alredy linked in this thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=563511&postcount=276 (scroll down below screenshots)
  12. Yep. And to more funny stuff. Try putting two stations at exactly the same long/lat. They will appear one above the another. And destroy the lower one. The higher hovers
  13. Didn't think of that, but I'm afraid that's not completely true in all cases. If you got it pointing behind you left/right rotations, up/down transitions will work ok, but up/down rotation and left/right transition will be inverted. You can't invert axis in TIR settings. So unless you can do that in game (ok, in BS it might be possible) it won't work properly.
  14. Russia, north of Georgia. Terrain covered in BS.
  15. http://www.af.mil/shared/media/photodb/photos/081103-F-8477M-219.jpg Doesn't this guy have TIR inverted? ;)
  16. Nicely done, really did enjoy this. Very nice slow motion at the end. Make sure to give a link to HD version :) If you want some advice to improve it, try to make the combat more dynamic, those apaches would have much more chances if they would at least try to avoid being hit :-) Anyway , I suppose it's still cause we lack skills to do some nice maneouvres but hey, you could use simplified flight model, just to make some more dynamic shots.
  17. Yes, you can deactivate using that. Just remember you can do that 10 times, it's not unlimited.
  18. I've noticed that it's sensitive topic here but was that officially claimed? I'd consider that extremely silly to use gettext() from LGPL library libintl and then forbid people to use it. Since 1. it is meant to be easy to use (localize) and 2. they're already using someone elses work.
  19. I didn't. When I decided to get my copy (it was bought in the day of the release, I just got it much later) I didn't see any official statement on this matter. If you don't use DVD you can have 2 free at most at that point (you had to activate once to play). And don't forget that there are issue you have no control on. Like HD crash, windows gone to trash, no way to deactivate, activation lost permanently. According to russian post about SF the above VPN thing shouldn't cause reactivation. Network card was added so AT MOST we can assume it was MAC address change, 6 points out of 12. And TBH it should have been 0 points, cause in reality just another MAC address was added, not changed. So you can't be sure you will always keep 3 activations. You're never going to upgrade your HW? You're 100% sure your HD is eternal? Interesting, I'd like to see that. It's not up to one software to judge another just because something is of doubtful morality or quality. Very poor argument here.
  20. Koriel, LOTS of people are against limited activation system you described. It was said that it's very probably that the western version will include only this scheme (russian version can work with DVD if you bought hard copy). We were discussing it in this thread (the only one where it was officialy allowed afaik) http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=32860 http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=555380&postcount=184
  21. Annoyed me as well ;) Easy solution to this, turn "Allow plane recovery" in options (or something like that, you might need to turn "use this settings for all missions" as well, depends on mission). You crash, ESC -> Recover and you can practice again, no loading screen.
  22. Would be enough to implement the game key feature on the forums we talked about in the the other thread. You'd get some icon in your profile that you are a legitimate owner (as it is on egosoft and bioware forums). At least they'd knew who bought it and who don't when support question are asked and at least could answer some by PMs if not in public. Or just make support subforum you can enter only with BS registered in your profile (you'd need that even just to read that subforum). I as well had one support question but didn't even bother to ask it as I knew it won't be answered. I agree it's far from fair, treating your legitimate customers this way.
  23. Yeah, they are, I was curious myself
  24. Probably in registry: HKCU\Software\Eagle Dynamics\Black Shark I know it is there, I just don't know if saving/restoring it would be enough, if there isn't something else. And nice info on what hardware change was required to reactivate. Don't want to get locked, but sure as hell backs up opinion of lots of people in other thread.
  25. You just had to do it :( Anyway, after a closer look it's not only the FLIR. It's whole nose is different. SHKVAL is actually built in in the nose itself, not below. The stick with sensors is lower and FLIR is where SHKVAL should be. I didn't know there was a version for night-ops. I only knew KA-52 had those.
