Interesting thread. Just for clarification on the 169th Dedicated. 6 x R77's on the MiG29 is not accepted for 2 reasons. 1. This is not a Mig-29K simulated in Lock On. As far as I know its the only model that supports 6 2. Its an unfair advantage to those who dont use mods or aren't aware of mods being available. If players are found to be using load mods on dedoicated they will receive one warning only. If they offend again. Ip banning will be implimemted.

Maybe i should clarify yelled. It was a formal dressing down in the forums. Part of the Debrief" and therefor part of the game. There was an instance of one of my members being "yelled at" for destroying a civilian building. That's true. The rest of the squad practiced for a fortnight to execute the mission properly. One member did not. He just rocked up on the night and because of lack of practice and a "She'll be right mate" attitude we lost the campaign. As for being expelled that was his own choice. No one pushed him. I guess he just thought he was too important to be told in no uncertain terms he F'd up.

Delete the "TrackIR" files in "Config" and in "Input" folders then restart Lock On. Should find it works then. I use numpad5 to centre and scroll lock to enable disable. They dont conflict with Lock On.

As some of you are aware the 169th Panthers has not been recruiting new members due to Beta Testing commitments. For a limited period we will take names as applicants to join the 169th Panthers. If you think you have "The right Stuff" to be a member of one of the longest established and most competitive virtual squadrons, then email me wgcdr@wearecomputers.com.au and give reasons as to why you should be considered as a Panther. Applicants will be put through a cadet training program which will require study and practice to pass. Applicants need to be Team Players. Meaning, Doing what the team wants. Not just your personal preferences. Over 18 years of age, have broadband connection a microphone to use with Teamspeak. Flying all aircraft from Frogs to Eagles. Being ready learn and fly all modes. Whether it be guns only to long range BVR. Heroes and Egos need not apply. Important, Please note: If you think becoming a Panther will get you on the Beta Team, Forget it. There is absolutely no chance of any new ED Testers coming from the 169th Panthers. For those that get put on "The program" I wish you best of luck. Be warned History has proven that only about 1 in 6 Cadets actually get their wings.
