One other Thing I'd like to add. All the ED skins are very symmetrical. You can grap a left wing and place it perfectly on the right. These surfaces are all different and means a lot more fiddling and checking to make something fit. If You could try to make similar panels the surfaces the same size that would be great.

I've been trying to fix the skin for this model and was having some success until the latest update. Now we have some real problems. As you can see here the speed brake here has a neat single line representing the gap and looks nice. In the next screen, The newer verssion of the skin I cant do this because the speed brake has been stretched and we end up with 2 lines Next Problem. Is the canopy in beta 1 the canopy bar was fine but now we have a repeditive pattern and i cant get it to look as good. Thirdly. The Elevators on the wings are stretched in such a way we end up with a similar problem as the speed brake. Befre was managable but now it isnt

I put many hours of work into these psd templates. I do give alot of other stuff to the community but I chose to keep my PSD templates to myself. However I have put together a tutorial if anyone else wants to spend a week or two making their own. Link to Skinning Tutorial

I'm busy trying to refit the skins on the new F15 Mod. Wow difficult. Unfortunately there are alot of wierd bits that cant be dtailed because of the stretching and double placements. But I hope it will still turn out ok. I need someone to create me a CDDS file for all 6 Su33 skins in 2048 format before i will release a complete set. Also if someone wants to design a weathered Number and Red Star set to replace the originals in high res That would be awesome.

Looks like somoene misquoted a post in here from HL. Ive edited my post. Anyway if you dont like the skins dont use em :smilewink: The good news is that we now have more skins to choose from and can make them whatever you like.

For those of you who arent complaining about my skins. I will be working on the templates this week to fill in some of the gaps due to the slightly different shape of the mod.

Just installed the mod. From the screenshots Mustang put up it looks Bloody Awesome! Great Job!

Having Flown all Aircraft consistently I'd have to say the Su33 and Su27 are just as dangerous as the F15. Its just knowing how to use them.

Thanks for the comments everyone. If anyone can help me make a Modman Addon for this in the same way that walmisWeapons_v2.0.rar is made. Please email me. I'd like it to execute and install all 6 skins at 2048 x 2048 as cdds files.

Be happy with what you have. Its the best there is. ED are allways trying to improve this sim and make it as realistic as is possible for current technology and available resources. Enjoying what you have and making the most of it is much more fun and challenging. Which is exactly what real fighter pilots do.

I think I like this colour scheme the best..
