Some systems eye-candy for you... You can just see it if you look closely, but the "barber pole" not only denotes VMO/MMO, it also responds dynamically to aircraft configuration. It has 3 modes of operation: * Aileron actuators normal, wing tanks empty (limits: 450 kts IAS/M 0.80) * Aileron actuators normal, wing tanks contain fuel (limits: 350 kts IAS/M 0.70) * Aileron actuators INOP (limits: 300 kts IAS/M 0.65) EVERYTHING IS WIP AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE. Best regards, Tango.

Yes! If we can find the time... :music_whistling: We plan to include custom weapons (I think by the time we are finished, they will all be custom). Best regards, Tango.

I'm still fixing this darn ADC... it doesn't like time travel much that's for sure!!! Thanks for the comments everyone! 8) Best regards, Tango.

All we can say right now is "it is in progress". Best regards, Tango.

Hi, This thread has been a long time coming, but I'm pleased to have finally started it! :D 8) I'm currently in the middle of implementing the weapons system. I'll have more info as soon as it is avail. ;) The SFM is updated to match the engine specs of the CC version. The EB version is equipped with an engine producing 15.8 kN static thrust, whilst the CC version produces 20.9 kN static thrust. If you're paying attention, you'll realize that is 32% more thrust. I have taken it for a test flight, and I can tell you now - it is a ROCKET! You're going to love this thing. 8) That's all for now. Until next time... ;) Best regards, Tango.
-
Hi, That should be fixed in the update. The build you have right now doesn't contain the fix. Best regards, Tango.

Well... "light", compared to an A-10... :D @DimitryNZ: It can attack ships! You can't have everything. Even the Buccaneer in this role didn't do anything else. It's one reason the missile has huge range (to keep you over the RADAR horizon), and the attack profile was usually LO-LO-LO. I can already think of some interesting missions for this! 8) Best regards, Tango.

No. The ADI behavior is rate error - the gyros can't keep up with hard aircraft maneuvers (this is accurate to the real thing). Which functions that you assigned are causing the crash? Smoke is the only one I'm aware of (fixed in the update). Best regards, Tango.

Hi, Which keys? Best regards, Tango.

When I press \ the GPU start, normal or bug ?
Tango replied to Skulleader's topic in DCS: C-101 AvioJet
The radios are WIP and currently INOP. I've no idea why you are seeing the behavior you are seeing. Best regards, Tango. -
Hi, It is something we can look at adding! NVG can be independent of the aircraft (IRL), so you can choose if you're "NVG equipped" or not, as desired. Best regards, Tango.

Will C-101CC Come With Anti-Ship Missile?
Tango replied to inSky_1911CFZS's topic in DCS: C-101 AvioJet
Looking good! Thank you! At this point, it is a tentative "yes". Best regards, Tango. -
Hi, We haven't forgotten the manuals! We are busy with development on the CC version. Once it is ready, focus will shift to the manuals. We have some surprises we are sure you will love. :D Best regards, Tango.

It's interesting - we have found that regardless of the initial FPS, the drop is up to 50% of whatever you started with. Note that the issue is related to how 3D lights are rendered in the sim, and is not related to the aircraft. For the red spot lamps, the C-101 is using 5 lights. The storm lights are using only 2 lights (7 total). The other panel lighting should not have an FPS impact. Best regards, Tango.
-
Hi, This appears to be very dependent upon hardware. Some people may see a larger drop than others, depending upon their graphics card and graphics settings. Best regards, Tango.
-
Hi, We'll get this added to the quick start guide. If the canopy isn't locked, you should get a failure to pressurize, and an alarm about cabin altitude if you climb above 25000 ft. Best regards, Tango.
-
You are probably extending the landing gear whilst still too fast. You need to extend the gear < 180 kts. Gear limit speed is 200 kts. Best regards, Tango.
-
You are correct. The limit IAS is allowing for increase in TAS with altitude, hence the altitude limits for e.g. flap deployment. This is to ensure that the limit IAS does not exceed the limit TAS due to altitude, whilst making the speed reference easy for the pilot. Fixed! Best regards, Tango.
-
When you say "high altitude", how high is that? Most flap systems are limited to 20000 ft for operation. I tied it to TAS because that is the force imparted upon the flap mechanism. Example: Sea-level: 180 kts IAS = 180 kts TAS 20000 ft: 180 kts IAS = 252 kts TAS (72 kts faster) Best regards, Tango.

When will the Beta C-101EB be availabile in DCS?
Tango replied to jjohnson241's topic in DCS: C-101 AvioJet
"Very soon". Best regards, Tango. -
If you tell me the parking spot, I can just try it here. I doubt corruption of the mission file is the cause. It's very strange... Best regards, Tango.
-
Which parking spot exactly? Best regards, Tango.

* Sync: synchronizes the gyro compass to a flux gate, with the sync system attempting to ensure that gyro drift is compensated by resetting the gyro compass to magnetic heading * Free gyro: the gyro compass acts as a free gyro, and so will suffer full earth-rate precession, and will require manual re-alignment to magnetic heading often by the pilot Best regards, Tango.
