  5. And Max 7/8 is no more supported by editor and, of course, no more sold... By the way, Max is essential for implementing animations and export to .lom format. EVERYTHING ELSE can be done with Blender : 3D modelling and mapping. Then, the first step before beginning a model is to get a solid documentation. Principally, this consists to find a huge amount a pictures (easy to find, airliners.net and "walkaround" are your friends). Beware of blue-prints, they're all wrong ! Some are better than others, but they all need to be rectified with side/top pictures of the subject.
  6. The mod is under very last tests. Still need some little adjustments. ;)
  7. This first name is used in game for labels. If you want to change it and let AI fighting, you'll have to modify /Scripts/Database/WsTypesTree.lua file too.
  8. The BOZ skins are indexed with Tornado's skins, that's true. But the 3D model is really ugly, I finally decided to model my own one... ;)

  10. Who should explain why BOZ and SkyShadow pods are perfectly visible when loaded on Tornado, and become invisible when trying to load on another plane ? :doh: For Viggen use of course...

  15. With MichelAnge, we tried several things unsuccessfully. There are actually 57 plane IDs and the game crashes when adding a 58th entry, and we did not find any tip to fix this. BUT, it is possible to duplicate slot, with new CLSID, but with same ID. This keeps the same 3D model, same FM, same cockpit BUT you have a new plane.lua file, where you can adjust payloads, flare/chaff number, fuel load, plane name, etc... This is actually what is done with F-16A/F-16 MLU for exemple. There are four lua files, but only two IDs. By the way, if you need some help, dear crazyeddie, I think you should explain how you made your conversion. :) Edit : oops, cross posting ! :D

  17. Just two things : -> I think you should add some extra polygons to the canopy. -> You'd better reduce canopy width. Even if size is correct, pilot's perception makes it thinner than real. Good job. :)

  22. It seems Mk-83 bomb has no more 3D file (.cmd or .lom) associated... Then, this weapon looks invisible when loaded ! Of course, it can be fixed by copying the genuine file from FC1.12, but I think this omission should be fixed... ;)
  23. Adding new countries is fully possible and works fine. For incoming Gripen Mod FC2, Sweden, Hungary and Czech Republic will be available as new entries. The only problem is they all speak Russian for audio exchanges... Adding new planes is possible as clones from existing ones. Actually, it doesn't work as new entries, but we're still working on it. ;)
