The scenario described by Lange_666 is known for me every time I land in Novorossiysk for rearming and refueling. Recently I got new rig and every single module (exept Mig-21) runs really nicely in VR. I hoped to see some improvement regarding to FPS drops and stutters I experience after landing the Hornet but, the problem seems to be more related to game code as I see. Just to let you know, the game in VR becomes almost unplayable after landing.
P.S. Thread should be moved to F-18C Hornet section not A-10C...
Have a look at this threat.

I have edited the files using notepad++ and set volume at 0.3 which works for me best.
Ok, now I know what was the reason of my problem.
It is Nvidia control panel settings, where I set performance as a main goal for my GPU. I changed to quality and textures went back to what I had before.
After latest update (OB) I have noticed big change in texture resolution. Landing on carrier in VR is now very hard when performing VMC approach. I can't see runway markings during whole approach. The runway centerline, runway edge markings are not visible at all. All these things help very much as a reference points during landing. Arresting cable system becomes visible when 0.2NM from the carrier. Same with runways when performing ground operation. The textures look good from far distance but not when on the ground or close to it.
This MOD is real game changer for me as VR user. The only thing is Integrity check when trying to get myself logged into servers...ED should really take closer look at this modification and implement some if not all of the items from the list of changes.
Great job!
Hi guys,
Whenever I try to drop a single bomb (qty =1, multi=1), they go in pairs or even three when pressing the trigger once. I have already tried with mk-82,mk-83, mk-84 with same results. I'm sure it was not like that before latest patch.
