But you can‘t slave the HSI to the NS430 to make the needle pointing at the waypoint direction, correct? Further you can‘t use the VHF frequency right?
-
Is there any usage of the NS430 except from waypoints out of the mission editor or manually adding, editing waypoints? How to use the VHF, ILS/VOR Receiver or even a Nav mode for all the shown waypoints using the HSI? cheers
-
are you talking about the training mission for cold&dark? If so, the bank thing is stillt present as you will alter the trim. Hey @Jef Costello, the folder with the default.lua file is located here Your Harddrive\ DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\MiG-29-Fulcrum\Input\MiG-29-Fulcrum\keyboard and you'll find the trim sensitivity in the following lines aileron trim: Line 111&112 pitch trim: Line 109&110

Will do, once I‘m home

Ekran and voice warning without sound

Same here! No sound from Ekran even when the test button is pressed. -
Thanks @BIGNEWY, much appreciated. That‘s I was looking for. Now I know that even if the neutral lights are lit, doesn’t mean the aircraft is in actual neutral trim and we do have a small trim range even with illuminated neutral lights. Thanks
-
It does, yes and after start up it is no problem at all to use this button but if you‘re in flight and trimmed with pitch and/or rudder….you‘ll be messed up with all trims just because of the aileron trim is apparently not neutral even though the lamp is illuminated
-
Don't know how much a track file would help without seeing the controls indicator but here you go ED @BIGNEWY, instant action takeoff mission on the caucasus map. I did tap my aileron trim so that it is out of 'neutral' and then back so that the 'neutral lamp' is illuminated and after liftoff I didn't touched my x-axis on the stick and the aircraft is banking to the left even though everything should be neutral. If you need something more, just let me know. cheers Aileron Trim.trk

Your DCS Open Beta folder —> Mods —> Mig29 Fulcrum —> INPUT —> Keyboard—> default.lua and then search for „trim“. If you need further assistance, just let me know

You can, I adjusted mine in the config file from 1.0/-1.0 to 0.4/-0.4. It‘s the same procedure as with the F4 Phantom. But still struggling to get it lined up perfectly except if you press the Trim reset button, but this also cancels your pitch trim

I‘m not sure and I would guess that I’m the problem here but after a cold and dark start up, doesn’t matter if its a self made mission or the first training mission, I can’t get this thing to fly straight. NO FFB JOYSTICK IS USED. AFCS bit Test is successful and I trim everything back to neutral. Soon after liftoff the aircraft banks to the left, so I put in some right trim, even though it shouldn’t bank as there is no wind, no loadout, nothing. After minimal right trim input, the aircraft banks to the right and so it continues the whole flight, left, right, left, right. Pitch trim is fine and I do get a perfect level flight but aileron. When using a hot start mission or the second training mission, all works well and no issues as I don’t have to touch the aileron trim. Unfortunately the controls indicator is not working at the moment, so I can’t check the trim positions as I think the „trim neutral lamps“ do have a bigger range and are not exactly neutral when lit. Any ideas how I can get this thing to fly straight after a C&D start up? Anyone experienced the same? cheers

Hey Guys, the pylons doesn’t seem to have a weight. At least this is what I figured out in the Mission Editor when you choose an Aircraft and make it slick, the total weight doesn’t change. It is the same with the FC Mig, so maybe there is a coherent problem?

Wags mentioned in the last video that using the DTC function, we’re able to use more than the mentioned six waypoints (3 AD‘s and 3 WPT‘s). Does this mean, using the DTC function I can create a Flightplan with let’s say 15 waypoints and the navigation system is able to alter between these in auto function or did I get it wrong? Second question, maybe I missed it. What does the beacon buttons do? Wags selects #2….because I understood that the NDB‘s are selected via the com rotary on the left console. Thanks in advance cheers

If you need the correct path where to find this file, let me know and I’ll check it out at home.
