My friend has a Intel Core i7 980x Extreme Edition 3.33GHz and he gets no increase of frame rates. On my rig With sli or without sli the cpu throttles back any way. On his extreme cpu he has the turbo boost where it increases during load up to 3.8 and he sees no increase in sli. For some strange reason a select few have a magic bullet. Sli is working but no increase in fps. If this sim was coded for sli like BlackShark it would be no problem to get more FPS. Why can I get FPS increase in Black Shark and not DCS A10?

Driver -260.99 A-10c settings do not matter It is not highest I am after. I have a 28 inch monitor so I run 1920x 1200. What is important is I do my ramp test with the same settings with or without sli to get a good benchmark. In cockpit looking straight forward I get 45 fps one card or in sli I get 46. In sli with the sli bar visible, My GPU usage is around 51% for both cards. Cpu is around 65% to 75% for both cores.

Yea I tried that. EVGA 780I ftw sli motherboard core duo E8500 2 260gtx scc evga 4 Gigs of 1066 memory. Two SDD drives.

I did not know you can get more than 100% In sli or crossfire.

Vega I tried in nvidia panel and Nvidia Inspector and forced AFR2 and cannot get the sli to work. Can you export your profile in Inspector and send it to me? Thanks.

Thanks for the info. Yes I have Nvidia Inspector. Like it better than Nhancer. I will try this when I get a chance. AFR2 is the key.

I do not call this rig CPU limited. Pick a mission that starts on ramp. Trackir off, hit 5 on numpad to get view straight out of cockpit. Check your frame rate. Now do that with sli and one card and see your difference. Blackshark you had an increase in Sli. A10 nobody I know get an increase with sli.

I have not heard anything definte on Ditectx11 or sli in DCS A-10. It is a shame because with a wall hit with silicon either we have to go organic or tillieum I think it is called and both are two expensive for desktop. Only improvement will have to be the sim engine utilizing multi thread, multi cpu or multi gpu. We are at the wall right now on core speed for the next 5 years at least. That is why AMD is pushing out a 12 core hoping the gaming industry will get off thier seats and start programing multi CPU and GPU.

Well for this sim, Sli will not work. Only performance increase you will get is raising the AA or Af. I had two 260gtx. I now have a 480gtx. One 260gtx performed as good as the 480tx. A friend of mine bought the new 580. He went from 480tx to 580 with no increase. So unless they put sli in I do not worry about sli in this sim. To awnser your question, I think you can do that in cuda not sli. Meaning second card is used for physics.

Ok in the mission planner lets say a QNH is 775. when inbound ATC gives QFE of 30. How do I get a pressure so I can reset the Altimeter

Ok here is a workaround. Turns out switches have to be in right position for binding a key other wise it won't work. If the throttle keys have to be set correctly otherwise the warthog is in the middle of a key stroke which blocks other keys from being bound. Follow steps below. Set the throttle switches like so: Throttles (Left and Right): Out of Detent Flap Switch: Center (MNV) Master Light Switch: Center EAC: Down (OFF) RDR ALT: Down (OFF) Autopilot select switch: Center (ALT/HDG) APU: Down (OFF) ENG OPER (Left and Right): Center (NORM) FUEL Switches (Left and Right): Down (OVERRIDE) Speedbrake switch: Center Boat Switch: Center Then try setting it in TS3. Ooops saw it in other post sorry.

Thanks Pumpernickel. It was nice having a throttle for a few days. Tried all of that 2 times. I have windows 7 manager for registry cleaner. The throttle acts like its a dead brick. I think a electic component went out. This does happen. I am not mad. I still think it is a high quality product. Sending it in to get fixed or replace. TM support has been good so far. I have held down those two buttons until my thumb and finger turned blue. Joystick is no problem. Plug and unplug the joystick and Windows recognise it all day, even without the TM utility.

I have the problem with no lights you mean the firmware will load without lights. Windows sees nothing on my throttle and no lights. I tried the boot load pushing down the two buttons and cannot get the utility from TM to see the throttle. Maybe I will try for the 15th time.

We really do not know the actual numbers of how many. I find it unusual for it to be the same problem. Not random different issues going wrong and going wrong so soon.

I just got a reply from TM after the first fixed did not work. I am to mail to Canada my throttle for repair or new unit.

So the issue here is, when you get your new stick, do you go ahead and roll the dice and plug it in and take a chance or wait for a firmware update that might solve this. Because you might be like me and some others that tried the first fixed and did not work. Now we might be sending it in for replacement.

I had mine hooked up to the USB on the back of Motherboard. The main USB ports and still went bad. Waiting for another fixed or ok to send back.
