Non.. Nothing about Oculus Core Beta , is a DCS World problem with Rift Users only, ASW is not working..

Well, after some tests, I have recovered from the problem I had in the performance, I return to have a stable performance, it seems related to the Oculus Tray Tool. I always used Global Super Sampling 2.0 for Oculus Home general, and for DCS World I had a profile created for where I used Supersampling 1.6. For some reason, since the new OpenBeta the ASW has stopped working, as many users have described it. But I also think that something else does not work as before with Oculus Tray Tool, like the correct application of profiles, and I have the impression that the Supersampling 2.0 that I use in the global option, in some way also modifies the simulator, then logically there is a considerable drop in performance. The solution I found at the moment was to start the Oculus service without using Oculus Tray Tool, although it insists that the ASW is still not working and this makes the DCS World VR OpenBeta useless.

Rift users with problems, are they all using Rift Core 2.0 Beta? and the channel public testing ?. Just out of curiosity. Could this be an important factor? I will do some tests to check if something changes.

I think yes... Performance is still terrible, even with the new "Shaders Performance Mod" installed..., something has changed in that OpenBeta that affects only the Rift users, a shame..., instead of moving forward,we go back ... So, waiting for a fix .. :doh:

Thanks for the update.. The mod is now installed correctly, unfortunately the current version of OpenBeta has broken Oculus Rift users..., the current performance is terrible, even with this Mod installed, It's a shame, I hope they have in mind to fix it... :noexpression: -

I think that this mod will be for a long time the only solution of the VR pilots. For the moment it is still the only way to have a solid performance. No guide to improve performance can be compared, not for VR. And even for monitor users, the improvement is significant. The only negative of this mod, is that loading times, are made on little longer in general than without the mod, even with SSD. But I prefer 100 times to wait for the loads to go having low fps and stutters. :pilotfly: -

I think is better with 2-bladed in openBeta version 2.5.2.20601 Update 9, BUT in Fly Solo only. With others Yak-52s 2-bladed in parking or taxi engine on, still very bad performance like before, no change. 3-bladed still keeping a solid performance.

Hello Thanks for your reply. Well, I fly A-10C from its Beta version, and I remember that at that time the body of the pilot could be activated, I think it was later, that they decided to remove it. I'm retaking the simulator, after a break of 5 years.... Many things have changed, others not. But now whit VR, pilot Body is a "Must have".

Hi, Yes, in "Most Aircraft" like P-51, but not for A-10C. I wonder if there is any way to reactivate it by editing files or mods

Hi Guys, I was wondering if there would be a way to reactivate the pilot in the cockpit, I know that currently they are not available for certain planes, but maybe there is some mod ?. The reason is because I am a VR user, and flying always with the invisible pilot seems strange to me, I like the option of before, to be able to activate and deactivate it freely, I do not understand why they are now unavailable by default at this moment. Thank you so much

Ok, Found the problem ... everything seems to be related to the propeller type 2-Bladed only.. If you choose 3-bladed in the mission editor, everything works correctly, stable fps and everything very smooth :pilotfly:

Same here. while the engine is off everything is fine, when the engine is turned on and the propellers are in motion the fps fall. VR Mode.

Thanks for the mod, working well with all aircraft except the Yak-52. I'm having a performance problem only when the engine propellers are running, when looking through the propellers (so looking forward), the fps fall drastically. -
The shaders mod installed and working well here.. But with Yak-52 i detect a problem when the engine propellers are running, when looking through the propellers, the fps fall drastically. Does someone else have the same problem?
