I tried running and tweaking Black Shark on my Athlon XP 2400+ with 1 GB RAM and an ATI X800 GTO with 256MB RAM. OS was XP. Well, it doesn't run very good and it isn't playable in Multiplayer or more complex missions. You need to upgrade to a better system and it doesn't need to cost 500 bucks. You can save money by assembling it on your own with a little knowledge and taking care while doing it.

Gamestar ist ja auch ein "Spiele"magazin und keines für Simulationen. Manchmal denke ich mir die sollten die Finger davon lassen. Jeder der drei Stunden Black Shark hat laufen lassen, hat zwei Stunden mehr Erfahrung als diese Spielemagazine.

Ahso. Hmm, also ist es derzeit deaktiviert, aber lässt sich mit dem Deaktivierungscode nicht neu Reaktivieren. Kann man über die Protect.exe nicht erneut deaktivieren? Dann sollte man doch einen neuen Deaktivierungscode bekommen. Oder Doppelpunkt und Deaktivierungscode nicht neu mit eingeben. Dann sollte eventuell nur eine neue Aktivierung verbraucht werden, wenn mich nicht alles täuscht. Mit dem Support sei geduldig, auch in Moskau gibt es Wochenenden ;)

I was there and also met some friends. Was a great event as always. Sadly this was the last LLTM to be held in the Tobit Software buildings, in ahaus, Germany. I hope they can find a new place good as the old one, and as there were a lot of our dutch friends, close to the dutch border. Maybe the reason I think this, is because it was only 50 km away from my hometown. Btw, Münster, Germany has a lot of nice places for events of this kind, too. :music_whistling: :D But sadly none with a jet under the roof, like in the Tobit Elements building :D

Hey Acedy. So this tool can be run on a remote server? You call it Pseudo Dedicated Server version. Will it run without GUI when installed on a remote server? Does it only need the BlackShark files to run without running Black Shark itself? Maybe we can run this discussion also in the German forum? Great invention you made as far as I can see it right now. :thumbup:

No, it's not needed. The party who wants to join your server just needs your IP, no matter if dynamic or static. IP won't change while you're online. Changes only when restart router or your modem.
