Same thing for me Can't remove "CAP" from the CAP fighter so they just ignore "Search than engage in zone" and attack every aircraft on the whole map... Annoying, please fix this

52nd Independent Knight Squadron Why is our name so cool? Because the name follows a real world batallion, 52nd Independent batallion, that was lead by an military jet pilot during the war, also known as "Knight". About us: We consider that the right way to have fun in DCS is to simulate. And to simulate we mean copy most of the things we can from Real Life into a game. But still, as this isn't a real life and you are not putting billions of dollars with a persons life into risk, we bypass some boring rules. Everybody in our squadron is a good and knowleable person. Some joined us while making 1st steps in DCS, some joined us after spending years in DCS. BTW We are an EU virtual squadron. What do we offer? We have a Real Life helicopter pilot that really knows how to handle rotatory-wings in DCS and can help you a lot. Other than that, a big amount of knowledge in Air-to-air and Air-to-ground as well as some other aspects. This knowledge is copied from Real Life and adjusted so it could perfectly fit a gaming surroundigs as DCS is. Yea it is a simulation, but still it is an video game. Which brings me to next point, if you are not having fun, than you are doing something wrong. Games are made to have fun! How does it look when you join us? This is the hardest part. We have a rigorous "Probation" where you learn, with the squadron leader, how to take-off, land, navigate during high and low visibility etc. You learn (unless you already know) all the info about all the missiles. How do they track, how does the range change, many ways to evade them, types of missiles (both a2a and SAM) etc. Same thing is for A2G weaponry. You go through all the theory, such as when to use what type of loadout, how to plan it etc. After that, you learn BFM. Energy and throttle management. What is it, how do different airplanes behave, how to exploit their disadvantages and use your own advantages etc. Same thing for BVR. After those basics, you are put into a team-fight. This is the most demanding part. You learn the comms, team tactics, approaching strategies etc. And once you are done with all the basics, you can finally start learning more and enjoying the DCS with us. But, before you join us, 2 conditions: If you can't find a link for Recruitment and post an application on our website, we don't need you. Also, you have to be 18+ and speak English. Our website: http://www.52knight.org We also have our youtube and twitch channel. See ya in the skies! :D

DCS Squadron [52nd] now recruiting new members
Adixylian replied to Adixylian's topic in Multiplayer
Actually, we do mostly fly F-14 and F-18. I, for instance, fly only F-18. But some of our members like to switch planes so we try to have all kinds of missions that corresponds to their type of aircraft. Edit: Which means we are not "only NAVY carrier ops" type of squadron, but that is what we mostly do. On the other hand, sometimes you just wanna jump in that viggen and sink other ships, or do an F-5 vs MiG21 dogfight :D -
DCS Squadron [52nd] now recruiting new members
Adixylian replied to Adixylian's topic in Multiplayer
Oh yeah I forgot, 1 more thing IF you decide to join, you will have to wait for probation which will start 7 / 14 days from now -
Hello guys! DCS World virtual squadron --> 52nd Independent Knight Squadron, is looking for new members. We are as serious as possible when it comes to flying, while keeping Real Life as priority. To shortly introduce ourselves: 1. Yes we have our own Dedicated server that is 24/7 running, with our own missions (atm Persian Gulf) 2. Yes ofc we have Simple radio 3. And Discord, TeamSpeak, even our own youtube channel --> https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxBLdCe_PXQ4WIN8eSKpq2w/videos twitch --> twitch.tv/52ndknight and ofc website --> http://www.52knight.org (here is where you will post your "application" if you wanna join us). 4. We also have our own skinns for most of aircrafts in DCS And our facebook page, but that is updated every 3 - 4 months... Now that we cleared this, shortly about our members / staff: Very friendly community. If there is a guy that wants to argue all the time and keeps trolling, he is kicked out of the squadron very fast. We keep our community healthy and organized. Every person with rank Captain and above is highly trained and will help you out to get the best out of yourself. Most of this guys went through the training of 52nd, just as you will. And ofcourse, we have our ranking system that gives info to all other members who is on what skill level. Now, what can you expect when you join us? 1st, there is a guy called "Spanker" (nickname tells you everything about him) who will hold the "Probation" (trainings for new guys) and get you on the level high enough to play/simulate with other members. As we keep it as close as possible to real-life scenarions, the probation can be difficult and frustrating sometimes. This is the cause most of ppl leave the squadron, it's just too much for them.:smartass: On the other side, if you actually finish the probation and join the rest of the team, you will finally start learning new stuff while also having fun! We do all sorts of missions, and they are mixed every time (Escort + CAP + SEAD + CAS etc). Sometimes it's day, sometimes night, sometimes carrier ops etc. :pilotfly: So, are you up to the challenge? Learning all the comms, tactics, getting Situational awareness on the top level, losing fights and learning from it to become the most badass pilot in DCS? :book: Yes --> join us :D But if you are good enough with not having to know every button in your cockpit, playing Single-player or alone in the multiplayer with no real team-work and tactics + 1% of the true comms, please don't even consider joining us. Lastly, we are European squadron. We ALWAYS fly 3 times a week, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, starting in most cases at 20.30h CET. If you want to apply, go to our website --> Recruitment and apply for the squadron. BTW we are 18+

DCS: F/A-18C Screenshots and Videos (NO DISCUSSION)
Adixylian replied to Vitormouraa's topic in DCS: F/A-18C
I hope you will enjoy the videos :D -
I managed to do it succesfully by creating flights of 2 AI aircrafts, Hot start on the Stennis. You can copy / paste them to Stennis as much as you want. Just change the AI --> Client when you are done. Hopefully they will not spawn on top of each other :D

As far as I know, atm you can't put more than 4 planes on the carrier. It just sends them to the nearest airport. You could've done it few updates earlier...
-
Hello guys! I'm creating missions in the DCS mission editor for a very long time and I noticed that, since the last few updates, we can't place more than 4 planes at 1 carrier. As this is very annoying and ofc unrealistic, I wonder if there is some kind of a workaround for this issue. Thank you all :D

ME -> Preview of weather / sunrise / sunset

If you take away Aim 9X and stay with R 73, you are making a silly decision. Everyone can see the huge advantage that Su27 and MiG29 have so they will just go for those planes, or try and lose. HMD + manouverability of Su27 + R73 just makes it much stronger than any other plane in this situation Maybe go with " both 9x and R73 are allowed" OR "Aim 9P and R 60m". Just saying.... It's all up to the rule makers. Btw, you tested it with "the best pilots in DCS" ...

We have finished with recruiting. Thanks to all of you who applied :D

Yes, we are an European Squadron UTC +1 timezone

Recruiting for 1 more week. Hop in while you still can
-
Hello guys, just wanna let you know that 52nd squadron is recruiting new players for next 2 weeks. Here is a short promo video: For some reasons, I can't insert the youtube video here, sorry for that... ${1} We are focused mostly on Team-play and utilizing different strategies to get the most out of the DCS. If you are a troller or play this sim once per week, this is not a place for you. If you wanna get most out of this sim, fly with a wingman/lead :pilotfly:, use the radio comms, have detailed briefings with a datachart, use the brevity, learn lots of new tactics and always have somebody to fly with, here is the right place :D We are also a very friendly community that will always try to help you in your troubles. How does it look if you join us? 1st you are going to probation as a recruit. There you will have to prove (or learn) that you can take-off, land- navigate both during day and night, use the radar, fire a missile and launch bombs. After probation (you skip it if you know all of it) you will get your first rank and start with real trainings. What planes can you fly with us? Any plane you want. We have all sorts of missions/trainings, CAS, CAP, ground attack, anti-ship strike, SEAD, DEAD, Escort etc. We have 2 trainings per week, on Tuesday and Thursday in 21.30 UTC/GMT +2, and one mission on Sunday in 21.00 GMT +2. There is just one condition, we don't recruit ppl who are not 18+ Ofcourse, we have our own servers that we host before the training, teamspeak, discord, twitch (52ndknight) and the website: http://www.52knight.org Hope you will join us! Have a nice day you all :D

Hornet on start, weird throttle and joystick position
Adixylian replied to Adixylian's topic in DCS: F/A-18C
Thank you guys I switched off "Synchronize cockpit controls with HOTAS controls as Mission Start" and it's all fine now. Probably some bug with the warthog... -
Hello guys I have this problem, whenever I get in the cockpit (same for cold, hot and air start) joystick is full to the left and throttle is always on full power. This thing is happening to me for approx 2 months and every time I get in the cockpit. As soon as I move the throttle and joystick, it sets on the right position. It's not a big deal if I'm on cold start, but it sucks when you are on air start because the plane starts turning around. How to fix it? Is there a file that has referent/0 position of the throttle and joystick? I'm on OB

Capt Zeen F/A-18C Beta Helios Profile ! ! !
Adixylian replied to Capt Zeen's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I did that already and I exported the info for the UFC (it's easy, just edit the .lua and put the correct pixels and width x height) Now I just need the keys from your Hellios to be able to make an input for UFC, but don't know how to do it... Is it possible to cut out your UFC and put it on other screen? -

Adixylian replied to Capt Zeen's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Hey, it's a great thing what you did Thank you dude! Is it possible to export only the UFC from your profile? I bought a tablet only to do that, other sensors (your helios profile) are on 2nd screen -
Ahh those Russians, hacking the IFF systems even in DCS

Hey guys, is it possible to stream music via Simple radio? Instead of letting out your voice via microphone to just play some music for the folks.
