Hi Mate The most common tool for this is PanelFinder. It helps to show where certain parts of a skin intersect using a Colour and Numbers format Its a very useful tool and easy to use. Hi Art I have looked at the Gabreski skin and I now see what you mean. The Template is multi layered so had no problem adding the markings(in Red outline) to the Intercooler interior as shown below. Cheers Keith

Hi Guys I made My fully layered P-47D Template from scratch as there is no official one yet and have already posted some skins made with it. I personally find the official templates to be too large with a huge amount of layers that can be overwhelming and confusing that said many may prefer that and Mine is not as sophisticated but I have made it to be much smaller in scale and much more user friendly and therefore ready to use straight away. UPDATE: These were made with Gimp and the XCF was not compatible with Photoshop so I have changed them to PSD and now it will work with both formats. Thanks Keith. It will be in Gimp xcf format BUT if you want it in PSD for Photoshop just open it with Gimp(Free) install the PSD Plugin and then save as PSD and it will then work in Photoshop. It was bought to my attention by Bo_Nidle (thanks Buddy) that the original skin I posted was not accurate because the wings were painted Olive Drab when in fact they were Bare Aluminium which is clearly shown in the Photo shown below. Thanks Buddy I am in the process of making a template for the "149th Fighter Squadron Virginia ANG Rebel Thunderbolts. It takes time as I have to create new National markings as the default ones are too big which entails matching all the seperated elements then I had to find a matching font for VA NG etc. Will get this done ASAP.
