Download Gimp which is free and watch some tutorials on the basics of how to use it,which is what I did and you will find that its not as daunting as it first looks just have a go at making a skin with a blank Template and see how it goes you will be surprised how rewarding it is to create your own skins, its very similar making a plastic aircraft kit in the sense that you have a blank skin that you paint and add decals to but with the added bonus of no mess and easier to correct errors.

Hi Prorok This is a common problem with the Fw 190 Anton,It seems to happen after DCS Update. The only solution I found that works is to replace the Fw 190 A-8 folder in the CoreMods with this version... mediafire.com/file/cujrnrfys3yfk5g/DCS_FW_190-A8_Texture_Shapes_folder_Working.rar/file Its Not Perfect BUT its a much better option than having the messy Red Bort numbers and Back Panel behind them on the fuselage at the moment. I hope this helps and PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THIS HELPS so I can help anyone else with the same problem and if this happens again just repeat the process. Cheers Keith

Hi Hunter Joker This seems to happen after every update. To remove the bort numbers and panel from fuselage replace the FW190-A8 folder in coremods with this one.its from an earlier version that doesnt have this problem although the 550 number is still on the Vert Stabiliser (working on removing it) its is still better than the current setup. Also replace the text in the description.lua with the one in READ ME FIRST BUT retain the Skin Folder name in comma's at bottom of page and make sure the 3 main skins are titled as follows so as to comply with the new description.lua input. Hi Guys Here is the unique pattern skin for Fw190-A8 flown by Maj.Kurt Buhlingen of JG2 based at Creil,France July 1944 and it is thought to have been used on D-Day.
