  1. The Hornet is currently in early access. Here is a list if the Weapons and Sensors that will be implemented later. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3285514&postcount=13
  2. You’re right. I didn’t see that before. That makes things a lot easier to distinguish between the box and the diamond. Thanks for the Info.
  3. I think the HUD Symbology is correct concerning the diamond and the box. You can see at the edge of the HUD Video that the training “hostile” is a diamond. At 8:57 the Targetbox changes to the diamond on the left HUD Video in the lower left corner.
  4. But it should still display the unknown contact as a diamond right? Only positive IFF responds get the box treatment, or am I missing something.
  5. At the moment it only checks if the Targetbox is in the HUD area. Is that intentional or is that a bug? When I lock a friendly track that is not direktly infront of me it will display it as a diamond and only change it if I navigate it infront of the plane to a box. If I lock a friendly target that already is infront of my plane it immediately displays a box. Has anyone else encountered this behaviour?
  6. It doesn't return to the VV for me, and I think they fixed that behaviour, but I still have issues with the DTC slew axis. It seems to get "stuck" sometimes, where you have to repeatedly slew to the right for example before the sensor actually reacts to the input command. I use the Warthog btw, and it works perfectly with the A-10C, F/A-18C and everything else. It works when I use the key commands for the TDC, but I really would like to use the Axis instead. It also makes it really hard to do small adjustments, because when I try to do small inputs it often doesn't react at all. I have the Saturation set to 50 and the curve set to 15. Otherwise I really enjoy flying the Harrier.
  7. It’s pretty OP though... have fired at least 200 Missiles at it, but it’s still going strong. :joystick:
  8. I have put the Saturation to about 60 and the Curve to around 20 to 25, so I can have a fairly decent slew speed for the A/G diamond, but also a quick slew for the A/A Radar screen. For A/G I am making small adjustments and move the Warthog TDC Nipple quite carefully, you know like you would do to a certain female body-part... and for A/A I would just yank it around for quick acquisition... you know like when you would get slapped in the face if you would do this to a certain female body-part...
  9. Hi, I would like to share my TM HOTAS Warthog and TM MFD Profiles for the DCS F/A-18C Hornet. The MFDs mirror the left and right DDI. The HOTAS is a combination from the Real Button Setup and some Buttons that I think will come in handy to have on the HOTAS. The TDC Axis Profile is as follows: Saturation: 60 Curve: 25 (I Think... or 20 maybe, but around that value ) Well >here< is the Link to the Files. And here is the HOTAS Button Mapping Overview Chart thing: Stick: Throttle: Happy Hunting!!
  10. Oh God, yes... WE NEED THIS!!!
  11. Well you can set the TPOD to be manipulated with the Sensor Select Switch. By following the instructions in the manual: Hope that makes things a little easier. Edit: Error correction and Pictures
  12. +1 Can't wait to see the Hornet grow into a complete and fully functional Module. Great work ED and Belsimtek, and many thanks from me too, for bringing the F/A-18C to the Sim.

    IFF?

Is it going to be like in the Mirage, where you have to manually interrogate, or is it something like in the F-15, where it is done automatically? Sorry to ask. Haven’t had time yet to read through the Natops and there is no Info in the Manual. Edit: Typos
  14. Indeed. Uncredible work in EDs side. Love flying the Hornet, and with every update we get a little bit closer to the finished Product. Thanks for bringing this great Aircraft to the Sim!
  15. I have the same problem atm, but I guess that this will get fixed maybe in upcoming updates. What works for me is to completely shut down the hornet --> turn on Battery Power --> change Load-out --> w8 for Ground-crew to tell you that everything is finished --> Startup, and hope for the best... sometimes the stores completely disappear after I start moving.
  16. +1 Would also like to see a native VOIP integration in DCS. Imagine to just use the ingame coms and everyone on the frequency and with the right encryption can hear you. You might actually get a feedback, when calling “raygun”. :smilewink:
  17. Awesome. @jojo, Thanks for the reply.
  18. So theoretically you could put the TPOD on the DDIs? Or is it just displayed on the bottom Display? Sorry for the Off-Topic question.
  19. If I remember correctly: 1. Got to the Nav Page ( EHDS ), either by clicking on the EHDS Button on one of the MFDs, or push SSS Left. 2. Click on MAPM. That should take you to the Moving Map Setup Page 3. Click on MAP. 4. Enjoy flying the Harrier. EDIT: Added Picture, bc y not.
  20. +1 Same problem for me as well.
  21. +1 Would be awesome to have some Manual to get to know the Systems to kill the time till it releases. Maybe something WiP like with the Harrier? Edit: Thx Wags. Didn't see your Post there. gg
  22. Hi, first of all this bird is really fun to fly!! But I encountered a problem. The Mavericks cool down when selected and they go from stand-by to ready, but when I decelect them and reselect them a few seconds later they have to cool down again, though the manual states that they should stay ready for about an hour after initial cool down. Has anyone else encountered that behaviour? Regards, Tao
