Bonz, like I said before I have the same motherboard. There was a option under the bios to update the bios, no flash required. It went online to find the latest and did it all. Then go into the bios afterwards and do max overclocking. There should be several options for your chip, go with the max performance. It does all the voltage and other settings for you so you don't blow your chip out.

This works alot better when everyone is on comms. Got shot down by a friendly fighter today (I was in A10) that could have been easily avoided if he confirmed no strikers were getting locked up. I just assumed he wanted to know my position with the lock. I don't think he was on comms. Does the server require it?

How do you zoom in on VR? Other than moving closer of course.

Does this server not support tacview? I looked at my file after i was done an it just showed me, not others.

I have the same problem as above. I installed 1.3.3.0 using the instructions, have the updated msft net files, when through the trouble check list but it does not detect my audio. "problem initialising audio input!" I am using oculus rift. It does not work if I switch to something else. I tried to install the msft media package above, but it said it was not applicable to my computer when I tried to install (I have win 10 home, updated). Any ideas I have not tried? thanks.

The bios update for the x299 was very easy. When you go into it, it has a option to update bios and look for it online. You don't even have to download anything or flash it.

F15 for air to air and A10 for air to ground. The systems on the A10 have a very steep learning curve. They will not be the same for F18 but close and using the same terms and concepts.

I just got a new computer with a x299 motherboard also (but a i9). Cyberpower never updated the bios, still at June, when there have been many updates since then, and their overclocking was poor. After you update the bios, go into settings and boost the overclock to max per the pre-set overclocking settings. If you have the new samsung m.2 ssd, like I have, go to their website and download their driver update software, I'd guess that driver is old too.

One problem I had was my usb3.0 ports were not working so I had it in 2.0 port and the resolution was bad, blurry. When i got my 3.0 ports back, it was alot better.

On my large multiplayer missions, I have noticed when I take all the SAMs out (radar ones, SA18 and Stinger do not impact) it goes from studders and slowdowns to smooth. I have the latest update and noticed this was supposed to be fixed a couple updates ago from the release notes, but it is not. Try the Operation Sochi misson in user downloads by IAF.AssafB. It is huge (and a great mission BTW). With sams it is unplayable after some time. Take the SAMS out (I replaced them with SA18 and BTRs, so number of objects are the same) and it is smooth. I am running 1080GTX 8GB, i75930, 16GB, SSDs.

Turning off deferred shading seemed to stop my crashes.
