  1. I know this is a weird request, apart from SAM location and Helipad which is absolutely fantastic (Will save tons of hours on mission editor), is it possible to get Point of Interest and Navigation point on the ME ?

There's a weird sound when the nozzle activate, only from external view.

    I recorded a small video.

Feel free to delete if that's already been reported

Version is DCS Open Beta V2.8.2.35.759

I guess they have added this beautiful AND REALISTIC sound recently about 2 or 3 years ago, I have never heard it before 2019/18 I guess

if it will take less than half a year to show the details (pre-order  possibly), so it will take half a year or more for releasing it, i would be more happy if they gave us ETA previous year, at least I know what to expect now, I set my expectation on 4th quarter of 2023.

and Q1 is almost over 🥲

    Many thanks, @Raviar.

I requested the missing blue color. Oh, I've just found these. I'll add them to the report.

Oh My, I cant believe it, Thanks a lot @Flappie it means alot , I enter to DCS back then just because of F-5, Really appreciate it

  5. I think Nevada is giving the best performance, it is beautiful in High Alt and it is the worst in low Alt (it didnt receive any update in last 6, 7 years though !)
Syria is the most beautiful ME region and worst performance currently
Channel is amazing, the performance is really nice and its extremely beautiful
Persian Gulf has acceptable performance and graphically is way better than Nevada

    From Wiki:

"A missile (blue) intercepts a target (red) by maintaining constant bearing to it (green)"

    Heres a good resource:

I believe this is relevant for Radar Terminal Guidance and not Heat seeking missile such as 9M31. I got my answer by @Exorcet
    Thanks

  7. How can I force mission setting including Wake Turbulence in MP ?
If I force by Mission Editor in mission options does it still affect even if User disabled it in "GamePlay" tab in setting and check the "No force from mission, use mine" ?

  8. yes it is possible, use below commands on your machine after installing git and creating some cloud repository in github or gitlab or bitbucket or any other of your preference:
    git fetch --all
    git checkout origin syria-terrain
    git pull origin syria-terrain
    git checkout origin sinai-terrain
    git pull origin sinai-terrain
    git merge syria-terrain
    git checkout -b sinai-syria-terrain
    git push origin sinai-syria-terrain

just dont tell it to developer, it makes them angry if they see I  found such cheap solution

Quote from a member in my community who's infinitely more knowledgeable than me when it comes to IT stuff:

"It connects to HTTPS servers on the internet which are part of a CDN, it seems to include packed / crypted data and it creates guard pages..."

I trust his judgement and I'd rather be safe than sorry. He's checked previous releases of DCS DTC as well since they all give off anti-virus warnings, but RC13 was the first patch that he told us, in no uncertain terms, not to download.

I went through the all code diff, line by line between two branches. I didnt find anything and I dont think there is anything even close to the claim! can you please ask your community member to let us know which line of the code would/may do that?

its only added Hornet, Apache .. support with some other changes
The only communication is on localhost via 127.0.0.1

These guys spent hours in coding and testing for FREE, please dont under question their valuable efforts with such claims without proof! even if you give us pcap or any network pack sniff i would go through it!

I dont see any problem with FM here, what you experiencing is slip-roll coupling because of dihedral effect of F-14 wings, in your case very pronounced negative AOA slip-roll coupling.

    Viz. F-14 NATOPS Manual, NAVAIR 01-F14AAP-1, 1 Aug 2001
    11.5.2 Dihedral Effect.

Dihedral effect is the tendency of the aircraft to roll in reaction to sideslip being generated. The F-14 exhibits positive dihedral effect throughout the positive AOA envelope (tending to roll away from sideslip), but negative dihedral effect at negative AOA. This tendency is shown by the aircraft response to a rudder input. When right rudder is applied from straight and level flight condition, the aircraft sees sideslip from left and so rolls to the right, or away from the sideslip. Positive dihedral effect is a stabilizing influence in the area of reduced directional stability (high AOA). At negative AOA, dihedral effect is negative such that a right rudder input will produce a left roll. In the PA configuration, negative AOA can be encountered at 1 g flight at the higher limit airspeeds for the configuration.

    Thanks for the info,
I am not sure if you see what I am seeing, Can you confirm if you mean such effect ?

  11. base on a discord post by dotrugirl, I wonder What are the differences between the current and future develop terrain vs Earth map?
    1. what is the business model of Earth Map ?
    2. is it going to render on Cloud or any cloud technologies ?
    3. What are the key differences in regards to Visual effects?
    4. Is it going to use similar damage model and effects?

(Flat earth people finally got a point! 😂 )
