  1. I believe AI doing really wrong even worst than before in some certain setups! I setup multiple run with F-5 against MiG-29A, in all sorties the Fulcrum either crashed to the ground! or running away(he seem tired to pull Gs!) or I could stay comfortably in his 6!
just to be clear, the AI set to ACE, there were not any AWACS available, only two planes and I was doing really bad! and here is tacviews

I thought you were asking about real-time telemetry, but if you are simply looking to make recordings, you'll be happy to know that the Tacview exporter will automatically record any flight made in DCS World and place it by default in the Documents/Tacview/ folder. Tacview does not have to be open and you do not have to press any key.

exactly, thats the thing, I dont want it to record always, but record when commanded, in BMS player can press F1 key and tacview start recording in the mid flight whenever F1 key pressed, can we have such functionality in DCS?
the problem with recording always on is:
    1. reduce FPS
    2. reduce lifespan of SSD
    3. consume size and needs cleanup
    4. not always in every single flight every single pilot needs acmi

I am using adv version of Tacview for years now, i dont want to disable it in special setting if I need more FPS, I would prefer to keep it on, but Tacview start recording only if commanded to do so, thatt would be great if we can have such functionality 🙂 Thanks

Yes, just have Tacview open during your flight and go to Recording → Real Time Telemetry. Here are more detailed instructions: https://tacview.fandom.com/wiki/Real-Time_Telemetry:_DCS_World,_X-Plane,_Microsoft_Flight_Simulator_%26_Prepare3D

Thanks, but this requires to open the tacview and keep it open, as you know by pressing F1 the recording will be started in BMS, So If I disable TacView data recording in advance section in DCS due to save some FPS, is there similar approach inorder to enabling the recording without opening the tacview ?

  4. even if you turn off the Radar you will realize they already know where you are with out the help of RWR!
I did simple test by putting F-5 (Ive chosen F-5 because it doesnt have a suitable view on six olcock), I turned off the radar and get closed from 6 oclock  2000ft to 3000 ft below, it started a break turn! 🙂
The mission was totally empty map with only 2 AC, F-5 as AI and myself in Viper!

  5. Its look like this, I saw it more than 100 times but i dont have the footage recorded (smart phone was not invented back then 😄 )
@Flappie I believe this is a good example, it uses same engine and JP5 if I am not mistaken

  6. check the tournament section if you are interested, many are not as this is Simulator not arcade game but check the tournament section, you can find different topics in tournaments with different group who are interested too , topics such as Fox1 Competition, A/G, SATAC, SATAL ...

  7. Even the Fusses should be OUT in Some AC, Example, F-5, F-4 ..., Part of Pilot Shutdown Procedures and Crew

i think everybody would be happy, if we could just save a user defined cockpit state as "cold and dark" for every aircraft

Exactly, Some Users might dont like the idea, but Hard Core Simmers like to have this feature, It can be a checkbox and execute an script behind the scene to adjust switches

  8. oh, and 1 more thing, the support by Urga Media, the developer behind Normandy and Syria is the most terrible support Ive ever faced as end user compare to anything! after YEARS of released they dont bother to fix or even answer the users ! simple example: The Syria (and I guess Normandy too) cant support kneeboard yet, simply doesnt show the Map kneeboard and thats probably one line of code fix!
