Missing Configuration tab Is anyone having problems calling up the Configuration tab? Pressing LCTRL, LShift and C brings another tab into the task bar but is blank and the Configuration tab is not present on the screen. Is there some means of reacquiring it please.

Download Problem I'm having problems downloading this module for the first time ever. It gets 99% into the download and then says, failed to download. Has anyone else experienced this and if so, have you discovered the cause and/or fix please?

Hi Max, thanks for the reply. I'm using the A-10C as it utilises all radios. Basically, I am having a bit of a problem with VA vs DCS with respect to Easy comms, if I select Easy Comms from the setting menu, it switches Easay comms off in game, but shows easy comms in VA. For each phrase I speak, say "Tower, Request Start Up", I get an awaiting additional input response after both instead of one awaiting additional response and one confirmation bleep, but in the VA log, it confirms both sets of words has been understood. Does that make sense? Also, in game, I only get the UHF radio showing as being operational, the other two are greyed out in VA. I've checked the settings in VA, redone the key combination selections, everything that has worked for me before, just doesn't seem to be working for me now.. Thanks for the advise, am ready to remove Viacom pro and just use settings that I have downloaded from ED user files....

Voice Attack Update Please forgive me if this thread subject has already been bought up. I have just got back into using it, been through the update process and everything. Anyway, i am requesting things from air traffic or ground crew, i am being met by no end response but VA is expecting another request. Am i missing something to end requests? For example, Tower - low bleep, Request Start up - low bleep.....instead of high bleep to end transmission. VA is expecting another command. Thanks in advance and sorry if it is a little long winded

I have also found that you still need to have a key bind for EAC Arm to get the autopilot to engage as well. Don't know if you have the same issue?

I have noticed that there is a discrepancy with the Night Attack Harrier's airbrake functionality. When the undercarriage is down and locked, the airbrake should be extended by 25 degrees. When the undercarriage is retracted, the airbrake retracts with the undercarriage. Once in the air, the pilot then, has authority over the airbrake and can extend to it's full range which I believe is 60 degrees. If then, the pilot extends the landing gear, the airbrake then retracts to 25 degrees. this doesn't happen within the simulation. Does anyone else agree with me on this?

Checked out your lead, it seems that one of the helicopter mods I was using was causing the problem. I'm not sure which one it was, but the problem is now sorted. Thanks again Kailux

Ok, I know there are a few threads about this subject and I have read and tried to comment but have received no responses. In my Open beta version, my KA50 has 2 icons in the Specials Tab. One has the KA50 logo, the other has a DCS logo. I have also found that there is no Customize Cockpit facility in either. Consequently, my KA50 has a Russian cockpit. Looking in the stable version of DCS, the Customize Cockpit facility is present and I have an English cockpit. I have tried a repair but no luck, I have compared the two versions and cannot find any difference. Could someone please advise on where I can go from here. Paul Francis

English Cockpit I have noticed in DCS Open Beta, specials tab for the KA50, that the applet for Customized Cockpit is missing. I have also noticed that there is two Ka50 tabs, one has got the Ka50 icon, the other has a DCS icon. Does anyone else see this or is this just a problem with my installation. The stable version of DCS has an English cockpit option. Please advise, thanks.

I really enjoy flying the Yak. It would be nice to be able to go somewhere without having to use the F10 map and use the aircraft’s own navigation system. Thanks Eagle Dynamics.

I know there is already a thread that possibly covers this topic in a roundabout way, but is there a way that keystrokes can be activated by flying through a trigger zone? I know keystrokes can be activated via Voice Attack but I would really like to have certain things happen when flying through a trigger zone. For Example, the hood on the L-39 activating. Can anyone help with this?

Any new updates on the Yak-52's radio compass system? Although the system picks up the Morse code for the station correctly, the compass doesn't point the way, still

I only use target for checking my controls to see if they are functioning correctly but I will check the auto start function first. I will then check the bindings folder next. Thanks for the advice, I will keep you posted on the result if that is ok?

I've tried that. I have set all my control dead zones to zero, it still does it, on most modules too. Have considered reloading all my modules but don't really want to, what do you think?

I have noticed that all my modules have a dead zone in pitch and roll. I have used the calibration program within windows and checked the control input using Target Script Editor, both programs show good control movements but within DCS there is a delay between the joystick being moved and the in-game flight controls moving. Does anyone else have this problem and is there a possible fix

Whilst flying at night in the rift, I get minute white pixels in my field of view which makes it very hard to see instruments, even with white cockpit illuminations turned right down. This is quite obvious while flying the Albatros, I can not use red lighting as it is doesn't illuminate the instruments at all well. Gamma is turned right down to one, but makes no difference. Does any other rift users find this and is there a possible resolution for it please.

This is probably not the correct forum to post this remark but having not been able to find one suitable...… I have just downloaded DCS 1.5 in an effort to fly the hawk, but it doesn't seem to run. Am I right in assuming that this version of DCS World is now obsolete and no longer usable. Is there any other way of getting the hawk to fly?

Any chance of making some training missions for Combined Arms?

Module loading time After the last update for DCS World Beta, I have noticed a massive increase in module/mission loading time. Before, loading into a mission was something like 30 seconds to start, now it is something in the region of two minutes to load in. This has only started happening after the last update. Is anyone else experiencing similar delays?

I-16 I've just purchased the I-16 and was quite excited about the prospect of flying a new module. But to be honest I was a little disappointed about it when I finally got in to the cockpit. Finally, meaning, it takes twice as long as any other module to load. When I finally get the engine started and begin taxi, it handles pretty much like a supermarket shopping trolley. Surely, the rudder does not wave around like that in the real aircraft. As a result, taking off is almost impossible. I know this is a beta module and it is bound to have a few faults. Can someone please find out whether this wavering around during taxi and take off roll is supposed to happen.
