Thoroughly agree with you on this Theodore, the Yak was my first module purely for flight training but I feel that it has been left as an afterthought, very sad. However, the. Christan Eagle 2 is a very capable stunt aircraft too, unless you were only referring to Eagle Dynamics modules. Great post.

I know. It seems strange that this module just appears out of the blue. I’m not saying I’m disappointed, I’m quite pleased, there was just no lead up to it, it just appeared.

To be honest, I’m surprised this hasn’t happened already. Like with the Apache, there was at least a few videos out to showcase the aircraft systems or equipment from Wags. There’s been nothing except the very impressive preview video so far.

I wish for the ability to place the NS430 unit somewhere else other than slap bang in the middle of the screen. Leaving me boss eyed looking at it. Not a pleasant experience. in 2D, you can pretty much put it wherever you want and resize it.

Thanks for the reply Cthulhu, I was kind of referring to a ai compass affair, like the tomcat and phantom. I’m going to try making a voice attack profile, see how that works out for me. I generally fly in VR and don’t have enough buttons or the like to map the ai pilot controls.

I’ve noticed that there is a AI pilot On/Off option as well as a pilot HUD option. There are also commands in the control settings menu for flying orders. Does this mean that we will be getting the ability to give AI pilot orders whilst in the Co-Pilot seat a the future? I have not tried selecting AI pilot on the fly to find out what he does yet.

This will be my only complaint with this module. I have to say, it’s the easiest of the helicopters to control, and I have all of them. just can’t get around these text messages and take in what is being said. Much prefer narration. I’m trying to run through Casmo’s videos as a better option.

I don’t think you can do anything with the switches when the crew chief wheel is present. You have to remove the wheel before continuing, if that makes sense.

I agree with you about the radar mission. I went through it myself. I didn’t understand a word of it. The bit about adjusting the setting to bring targets into view, I managed to bring one set onto view but couldn’t get a lock. I’m hoping for another video to get more information.

Only a couple of observations so far, the home screen wallpaper for the aircraft. It’s a picture that could be any aircraft at all. Also, the startup training mission, the cockpit is quite dark and the internal cockpit lighting isn’t very effective. I have also noticed that the master caution cannot be cancelled by pressing the button. I have only tried the first two training missions and they are more in depth than any training mission I have ever flown. Could there be a jester assisted start-up like the F-14? Apart from that no complaints at all. i echo pretty much everyone on this forum, thank you heatblur.

I cannot seem to add a kneeboard file to the onboard kneeboard for the F-16C. I am hoping to add a start-up kneeboard for my own use but i doesn't seem to appear. I am putting it at C:\Users\Me\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Kneeboard\F-16C, I've also tried adding it to the main directory, still no joy. Anyone else got this problem or am i doing something wrong? Thank you in advance.

Please have this module come with its own missions and not to be left to those who have extensive ME knowledge to create them.

Thanks for your comment. I’m doing my best to learn about making my own missions, watching YouTube videos and the like but I do feel that ED could make more of an effort to provide a few of their own just to make the module a little more attractive. They might even get more interest for that particular module. The L-39 is another such module. Just my opinion.
