OK, so maybe not a game changer per say, but anything that isn't an empty parking slot to taxi away from and taxi back to is better that what we currently have. Putting a bit more life into airfield operations.

Hi Silver Dragon, thanks for your response. However, I wasn’t really on about ground crew on board ship, I was more interested in ground crew at airbases to make send offs more realistic.

Just to let you all know that this issue is still, an issue. Although I can now get my AI Yak pilot, set to veteran now, to fly to Boulder City from Laughlin, that is, only if I don’t follow him (If I follow him he turns back half way). Having extended its landing to Nellis which it should be more than capable of achieving, it still lands at Boulder City. Is there anything we can do to make AI pilots more fuel conscious or push the fuel usage to lower levels. OK, so since the last sentence, I changed the AI fuel to unlimited but there is no change in the AI’s flight duration. It still lands well short of its destination. It also, does not like me flying in close proximity to him, he turns around half way between Laughlin and Boulder. any ideas?

What I think would be a real game changer would be, if we can have moving and realistic ground crews on board ship, but why can we not have realistic ground maintenance crews ashore. It would be really awesome if we could have a marshaller and a couple of traded personnel standing by to marshal you out and marshal you back in again. In real life, aircraft don’t taxi themselves out and in again.

Hey Flappie, just to let you know that, i assume you removed theother flying assets from the mission. This seems to have cured the problem. However, placing the AI with a wingman, seems to have the same efect with the wing man returning to base....... Bazaar.

Hi Flappie. Thankyou for looking at this for me. I will fly the one you have edited and give it a go. Were you able to fly in formation with the AI or did you let it do it's own thing? Either way, thank you for this, much appreciated.

Firstly, thanks very much Flappie for your reply. This thing is really starting to annoy me. I have done a little more testing this morning and even a change of flight parameters doesn't seem to affect the outcome. The AI pilots flight profile changes every time i fly the mission, erratic after take off, but still turns back about 5 minutes into his 30 minute mission. I've set him to spawn in after i taxi so i can choose to wait and follow him or go on my own if i choose. He will taxi 55 seconds after i do. Hi there. Trying to set up have to follow a Yak AI pilot, set to Ace, from Laughlin to Boulder Airfield. He has 100% fuel on start and cruise speed set to 220 km/h but still turns back 15 minutes into the flight. I have 70% fuel and can make Nellis without problems. Also, his ability to increase altitude in the blink of an eye has to damage the airframe somehow. Is there anything i can do to improve on this performance please. Any help is appreciated.

Sincere apologies if this post is in the wrong place. I pre-ordered the F-4 module from the Heatblur website. I was wondering if there will be any conflict downloading the module when it finally arrives compared to if we preordered it from the DCs website. any help will be appreciated. -

I dont think this mod likes 2.9 update. Causes sim to crash and other home made missions to crash as well. Has anyone else suffered this problem? -

Has anyone attempted to fly this mod post 2.9 update. I have tried it but missions fail to load up. Latest version is, I believe 0.5.3b. Thanks for any info

Anything to make this airframe fly straight. I've tried the mod posted in the user files, have spent many hours trying different settings in the settings menu but just cannot get rid of the constant yaw/roll, so annoying.

Thanks for the comment Art-J, I have it sorted. Easy comms was on. I’m not sure why that would affect the keyboard stroke but it is now sorted. I don’t use voice attack.

Thanks for the message Max. I’ll try again, the in-game radio buttons move but definitely do not produce a comma menu as with other modules.

Comms menu still not working. Even with buttons bound to aircraft control movement. Not even the Comms menu is coming up. Tried pressing the radio PTT or Intercom button in game, no joy. I’ve tried rebinding but no joy. I really want to fly the campaigns that someone has quite painstakingly put together but requires the use of comms. Please Eagle Dynamics, do something with this module.

Thanks everyone for their posts to my question. I have only flown on Caucasus and Nevada maps as I haven’t had much of a chance to fly of late but it does occur at all airfields on these maps, that much I can confirm.

I am the sort of player that likes to go through the motions of contacting ATC to request startup, taxi and take off and the like so I don’t expect every to have come across this problem, but, after requesting take of and entering the runway, ATC tells me that I am not cleared for take off even though the runway and taxi ways are clear. After a while I’m told that I’m clear to take off and the rest of the message is as usual. Is this a bug or have I done something wrong?

Thanks for the response Rudel_chw. I had a feeling my thoughts were about right. Never worked F-15 but have worked airframes with a similar SPS.

I’m hoping that some one with RL F-15E experience can help me out with this. Prior to engine start, the tower cannot be informed because the radios cannot be selected until after an engine has been started. I was under the impression that running the AMAD would also run the generators. Also with ground power selected and the external power switch selected to normal, the aircraft power systems don’t seem to be functioning. Do I have this completely wrong or is this something that hasn’t been implemented yet?

I may be in the minority when it comes to flying the Yak-52 but I am still having problems with communications. Both the communications menu key and both radio PTT and intercom buttons on the throttle fail to bring up the comms menu even though the key stroke actually operates the respective button. Anyone possibly have a fix for this or resolution thanks in advance. I have scoured this forum for possible cures but those posting have not helped
