U firget my exact reasoning but if youre really curious Ill reinstall it and tell you why it doesnt work for some reason. The hat i use for tdc. I have a lock button soeed brake button, weapon switch button, and fire and fire cannon... Whats most important buttons tho...?

Theb"jeff" Lol my names Jeff I have trouble learning. How. Can I learn? The f14s still my favorite.. But I really like the Jf17. The handling. Its just right for my modern fix. And i didnt like the f18. The f16 less experience but.. the jf17 is new. And sexier to me anyways. I caved and bought supercarrier too. Lmao. But guys.. i know abt the mission made tutorials and the 2 in game dedaukt. However they seem dodgy. You hit the wrobg button and it ****s up etc. Any ideas? I got chucks guide. What do you mean change the scriptmods folder? Im downloading the update now.. i just fly the f14 campaigns.. besides the missionscripting.lua what else do I need to change? Miguel went missing on me - did you see the screen of the error Im getting in the Iranian F14 campaign? Its odd as the other 2 work still and I changed nothing Finally in TF68 (80s) I noticed many strike flights refuse to attack targets. Especially F18s targetting the EWR sites. Ive seen 3 seperate strikes of f18s (once modified with my own loadout, 2x using the mk83s default) they dont attack the target at all. I see this with other strike aircraft sometimes but it seems to happen a lot in this campaign especially with The EWR sites Sukhumi Army Depot PS - whats the High Value Target in Tbilisi? :)

Yes. The tech and engine goes to the user /saved games thing Also make sure to edit the mission scripting file with notepad in the ED folder on the regular folder. ALSO "edit" the 3 .bat files for each or any campaign - make sure the path is correct hsually it has the wrong letter for a hard drive. I couldnt get it to work for years and ppl here helped me finally a few months ago. The campaigns are everything theyre advertised to be. I went from not playing dcs at all (id play a new module and get burned out playing the same campaign 10 times)

Totally theorizing here so fwiw I think part of the problem is the f14 has a dmg model where many dcs planes have a extremely simplified one in comparison. Im sure things have changed but I remember a few years ago I was taxiing an F15 and I *bumped* a chainlink fence at like 5 knots. *FIREBALL* Ironically i forgot all about it until last week I got distracted and drove my f14 into a chainlink fence.. and it just showed some sparks and made a noise. other planes seem to have a yes no damage model. Hit = boom. I guess it was felt not a big deal with modern planes at the time who knows.

And I apprecate it. I did look and thank you the sections are what I needed as I was wading through 2 different NATOPS last nite and couldnt find the section.

Hi all. The plane looks really awesome and something aboit it "speaks" to me. I want it for some reason. When the free trial was going on, I downloaded it and I think the trial expired but whatever happened it wouldnt run. Then when they made it all free the module wouldnt work. I dont know why it just refused to work. Ill benhonest I dont remember a month later the exact error message. All my other modules work My question is this then - I want to purchase this however am worried if it doesnt work I wont be able to get a refund. Can someone from Dekka help?

True. That would help. Still glad someone posted anything.. personally for me the f14a/jester/lantirn/ai a6/ forrestal are very very important. Not all of us want to *have* to purchase SC to get the full f14 experience. And I dont mean SC only stuff that applies to SC. I love the module and id be really sad if nothing else was added but its still IMO top 3 modules in DCS as is. That said they originally did promise the forrestal and ai a6s. So when I say full tomcat experience I mean like deck crew, simple deck crew doing stuff (it really would help with a few things like lining up for the cat - more so knowing when to stop so the nosewheel is on the shuttle) I fear that since ED made some pretty wild claims for SC that never materialized (2 years ago they were saying youd have a ready room/ops room and be able.to "walk" around the virtual carrier in parts. I almost was certain then itd never happen and it looks it wont) If these things dont materialize ED is left with SCs more basic stuff. The animated seck crew and stuff do look awesome. ED beinf the bigger company in charge worries me that theyll tell HB not to do a forrestal. I mean if a free forrestal comes out with animated deck crew the SC is a 30 dollar bigger carrier. 30 dollars isnt worth more deck space to me. Whatsoever. The only thing that makes it even a thought is the deck crew and I cant do it.
