  1. Dear @IronMike I hope I don't bother nor do I have intentions to annoy anyone, but for the last few weeks I was curious about if, with the advances that were made with the release of the Phantom II, Heatblur could re-kindle the use of the TARPs module on the F-14? You see, the Phantom has the AVTR, an item most F-4E pilots don't even realize is there (besides to use it for some inflight entertainment/music) is actually an amazing tool if used correctly, and I appreciate the HB team not ignoring its functionality. Used correctly, it records snapshots of the radar display every 3 seconds, but can also be used in a recon mode when used with an appropriate sensor. So my question: with this feature, could HB research and implement the use of the TARPs in the near future on the F-14's again? My group of hobby pilots like flying online on realistic (full fog of war!) public servers but in order to fashion out good pre-planed strike operations, good recon data is necessary and even a must. It would be amazing to have TARPs flights available for Intel and BDA assessments and use that data during the pre-flight of post-flight briefing... Just a though... Thanks
  2. Alex, I got 50 Rubber bands on Temu for USD 2.75; works like a charm! Thanks for the tip! For everyone interested: on Temu 4cm diameter, 0.2cm thick and 0.5 cm high. Completely different feel on the pedal!
  3. Thanks Blackbahia, but the Radar Station you found is nonexistent in RL. Some things just don't add up..
  4. Correct, @Blackbahia; this is H Radar GDR 02 which I mentioned in my description early as the Wasserkuppe. GDR stands for German Democratic Republic, AKA East Germany. The Red Line to its left represents the border line. But, in real life, this border is wrong, it should be a lot further to the east. The Wasserkuppe was and has always been part of the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG), aka West Germany,
  5. No criticism meant here, please! But, a small error I saw was the border set to the east of the Fulda Area. The H Radio GDR 02 is the Wasserkuppe Early Warning Radar Station (?); in the Map, it is located on the east side of the border aka Der Todesstreifen (Death-strip). Wasserkuppe, part of the RÖHN mountain area, and it was definitely part of West Germany! I used to fly Gliders there in my youth! Also, during my time in the Bundeswehr, I visited it once or twice during wintertimes to train there
  6. This is a little late, but thanks for this tip; you wouldn't happen to know what rubber size fits best, would you? Thanks in advance!
  7. Thank you Max; I appreciate your response! I ended up solving the issue I had with the following thread: TM TPR Issues Again, thanks for your help! Picnic
  8. Hey Max, Thanks for your expert input; I just got me the TM TRP's and I have the problem that DCS doesn't recognise the brakes (on both sides) as an axis that goes from 0-100, but, instead is set at 0, then, when I touch the brakes, goes straight to 50 and only there increases to 100. What am I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance...
  9. So, as things are going, "2026 and Beyond" will be in the middle of February 2027, right?
  10. Isn't there an issue with Polychop now, too...?
  11. Recruiters Any virtual CVW in the UTC+2 to UTC+9 Time Zones looking for experienced Tomcat Drivers? Thanks in advance
  12. I have a similar problem and not sure if I'm able to explain my self correctly: the Break Axis of my TMRP seem to believe it is a joystick axis: so, when not pressed, it is in full zero, but the moment the axis moves, it jumps to 50% and then goes up as normal. Is this a control bug?
  13. Hey everyone... Not sure if this was asked or requested previously, but wouldn't it be amazing if we could include the requirements for EOR procedures? Thanks
  14. Been a while. but was there ever a solution to this problem?
  15. What is your time zone?
  16. Hello everyone, I ran a Quick Virus Scan and was informed I have a Potentially Unwanted Program ("PackUnWan") result from the F-4E folder: Any any others have this advise? Also, I'd value any comment from HB Admins, please... Regards Picnic
  17. Just an FYI and as an update, I had the same problem develop after the latest update. I use the Throttle Friction Control Slider Axis as the Flap handle and suddenly the range became shorter, so when selecting the flaps fully up, the sensor would not recognize it as fully up, ergo, the wing sweep would stop at 55 Degrees. After adjusting the curve all is good...
  18. Awesome! Thanks for this! Really appreciated!
  19. Awesome... Thanks Mr. Big
  20. Hey everyone... I'm almost sure not to be the first to ask, but... any chance to animate the Hold-In-Place-Hooks during closing and opening of the Canopy? Would look awesome! Thanks
  21. So, there was a post by Le0Kong a few years ago where he published some Registry Edits for the X65F, which like the Rhino has a MiniStick; one post even has a RegFix for the X52. The link is here, but it's an old post, and the RegEdit for the X65F is not working anymore. I have a feeling that it's got something to do with the latest driver versions by Saitek. Any Registry Wizards here wanna take a shot? I'm a humble moron and have no clue what that sorcery is all about...

    X65F Ministick

Hey guys, thanks for reading this post. I (still) fly with an old Saitek X65F and previously had used Le0Kong’s Registry Mod for DCS to detect the Throttle Ministick. Due to work I was out of the game for a while and even had to rebuild my Rig replacing my SSD’s. So, after a complete Windows reinstall the Registry Mod has no effect. I tried contacting Le0Kong directly, but he seems busy and hasn’t responded… I’ve tried pretty much everything, from registry modding to MadCats changing all options, but to no avail, unfortunately. Anyone have any idea what else I could do to make DCS recognize?
