  1. Let's not have any buggering here, please. :)
  2. http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=biggering No entry for "biggering". Here's the entry for "bickering": http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=bickering
  3. :) I always laugh at that guy. Don't berets look silly?
  4. "Bickering". Sorry, I'm just being "self-important". :)
  5. Junior, I'm not on any high horse. I have made plenty of mistakes, including wasting my time with you. I could care less if you are offended or not. You are entitled to you opinion as am I. If you don't like me or what I post that is your prerogative. Self-important? Right, whatever you say. Still waiting for your specific examples. EDIT : P.S. "Severely", not "severly".
  6. What useful purpose does this reputation feature serve? A popularity contest?
  7. Sonny, You are entitled to your misguided opinion. How am I being an "apologist"? Please provide some specific examples. I freely and proudly admit to being sarcastic and take that as a compliment, thanks very much. I believe I have stated several times here and in other threads that I don't work for TFC/ED and I am only stating my opinions and information for which I have first hand knowledge. I do have a business relationship with TFC/ED on other matters than their commercial products. I happen to know a hell of a lot about Lock On, it's development and it's after-market cycles. If you don't like what I post then that's just too bad, isn't it? I said "get used to it" because I have no intentions of going away. Gee, did I hurt your feelings by not accepting the crying and complaining? You'll get over it. I have. If you are going to be pushy then I am going to be sarcastic, OK? I only tell it like it is, here and on other forums. If I "put someone down" on SimHQ then I suspect they had it coming to them. I never stated that you suggested shutting down the forums, I was referring to the person who posted the message that started this silly argument. Pay attention. Have a nice day.
  8. They can do as many add ons as they wish in Russia/CIS. Ubi owns the rights for the Lock On product line in the West. Calling it "unofficial" doesn't prevent Ubi from being the license holder regarding the franchise. Of course TFC/ED could have come to an agreement with Ubi the I don't know about. I think we all agree that regardless, it is time to move on to the new franchise, one that TFC/ED has control over without having to depend upon Ubi Soft.
  9. I'm not an official spokesperson and I don't have all the information, but I would suspect that ED plans to move on to the next franchise so that they can do whatever they want without and Ubi entanglements. Let's also remember that future Lock On product will most likely continue to be developed for the Russian/CIS market. The exact details are something that ED will have to provide as what I am saying is based on what was going on when I was working with TFC/ED. Let's wait for the official word.
  10. That's for ED to say, not me. But let's not start speculating. They are working on a new project. The details will, I suspect, be forthcoming.
  11. My apologies then, as I had the impression you were complaining when in fact it is now obvious that neither of us communicated very well. The V1.1 FC product was primarily intended for the Russian/CIS market. 1C, a large software publisher based in Russia publishes the Lock On product line in Russia and the CIS. They ordered the V1.1 product from ED and entered in to an agreement with ED to develop it. The Westernized version was something ED did because they had permission from Ubi Soft, who own the rights to the Lock On product line in the West, to release an independent "unofficial" add on product. ED made the choice to use V1.1 FC as that one product.
  12. Bio, You're a good man. Your English is better than mine. :D
  13. My weapon never left the holster. I'm frosty but tactical.
  14. I hope it is good. I wish them the best of luck as the more flight sims on the market, the better. Hopefully this is satisfactory with the Falcon community, they have as much or even more drama than the Flanker/Lock On crowd. :D
  15. Is there anything in the EULA that would prevent it? In my opinion such a transaction should be possible.
  16. I really think you guys are overreacting a tad. I'm not taking any of this personally and neither should any of you. I just grow tired of the constant crying. Stating that the forum should be shut down was silly and rated the response I supplied. Feel free to disagree, I don't mind at all.
  17. Actually it was mild contempt for whining. :D
  18. Perhaps not. I'll say whatever I want. If you don't like that's just too bad, isn't it? What do you know from SimHQ? That I am rather direct? If you know me from SimHQ then you must be used to me. If not, well... get used to it. The suggestion of shutting down the forum is hardly constructive. You'll get over it, I have.
  19. My boo hoo comment was rather mild.
  20. No attitdude here. Saying that the English forum should be shut down is a bit extreme, in my opinion. I didn't say that it was never indended for sale, I said that the Western market was not the primary market. I also pointed out that I to am frustrated at the lack of a designated spokesperson from ED.
  21. Boo hoo. If you are so upset then why don't you just leave. Many of us appreciate this site for V1.1 and Lock On in general. Stop crying.
  22. You are making the incorrect assumption that the V1.1 FC product was intended for the Western market. It was created as a product for the Russian/CIS market and published in that market by 1C. The sales of this product to the West has the potential to make profit, but it is not the primary market for this particular product. I don't believe that things are very hectic at ED. They are most likely working on the next product.
