  1. Nice work. Good to see that the site is getting more attention. Looks great.
  2. Sounds like a personal problem. Seek help.
  3. What rule? As has been stated many times: Lock On takes place a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. An alternate universe where in the future Spock will have a beard.
  4. My recommendation to Eagle Dynamics is to avoid mentioning a release date for the patch. Announce when it is available for download and nothing prior.
  5. According to my sources at both Eagle and Ubi, it is not V1.1. Someone from Ubi cut a deal with Evolved to do a budget version of Lock On. Someone at either Evolved or EB thought they had the rights to V1.1 FC and copied the text and screenshots from Eagle's site. They do not have the rights to V1.1 Flaming Cliffs. TFC/ED is aware of this situation. Without V1.1 I fail to see how they could call it "Gold".
  6. Just about anything can be done in development provided the proper amount of time and money are allocated to the effort. Even then, little things like practicality, opportunity cost, and return on investment have a tendency to influence the decisions.
  7. Context indeed. What bugs specifically do you mean? I see people often complain about things such as missile performance and the like only to see that there are arguments on both extremes of the missles being too effective or not effective enough. Work Around - Something to allow the user to play despite either a problem with the game due to improper configuration of the game, their hardware, or a combination of both.
  8. Context. Read the threads. Many of the things being discussed are not bugs and have work arounds. As with all simulations there are indeed some issues. I'm confident that ED will address any that are serious. It's easy to be a critic but at least take the time to do some research and be informed.
  9. I'd just like to turn that feature off, please.
  10. I returned the favor. :icon_jook After all, we're just conspiring fanbois, aren't we? :icon_roll
  11. Alfa, Thanks for the information. I am unable to find anything relating to the rep points when I click on User CP and Edit Options. Perhaps this is only available to Moderators or Administrators? Either that or I am looking in the wrong place. Cheers, Carl
  12. I've noticed that some of the Mods and Administrators have the Rep feature turned off. How does a user disable this feature? I'd like mine to be disabled, please.
  13. Can any of the Moderators or Adminstrators explain this Reputation feature in detail? There is a conspiracy theory brewing on another forum that the Moderators are adjusting the Rep points so that only "Pro-Lomac" people are getting points and that some people have actually had their points reduced by the Moderators. I don't happen to believe in this foolish theory, but I thought I'd ask as there is a beer being wagered. Frankly, as I stated above, this Rep point feature is totally useless and serves no productive purpose on the forum. What was the rationale for enabling this silly feature?
  14. I don't believe it matters whether or not it is listed as "official" or "unofficial". Ubi allowed TFC/ED to publish on Lock On add on independently.
  15. That's more information than we need to know. Thanks. :) Congrats on the new pilot.
  16. Lock On isn't Flanker. The "draw" is a personal preference. Everyone has a favorite and they are not all the same thing. I'm sure ED is working on an "AFM" for other aircraft for future products.
  17. Even funnier post! :D Lighten up, Francis.
  18. Yeah, it's a big conspiracy. The "Besmirchment Effect" is now in place.
  19. Actually, it's "besmirchment". http://dictionary.reference.com/search?r=2&q=besmirchment Fneb is a secret. ;)
  20. Once while attending university I happened to go on holiday and over did it, so I ended up in hospital. :icon_jook
  21. Indeed. It is rather fneb.
  22. "You're" not "Your". :D Sorry, can't help it. Cheers, Carl
  23. Stop what? I've shown great restraint. :D
