I read your rant earlier today and knew that you'd be back.

I installed over my existing V1.02 and everything worked fine. No complaints, no earthquakes, flash floods, tornados, locusts, or any other disaster.

Many bugs fixed were bugs introduced by the work done on the upgrade and had nothing to do with the previous versions of Lock On. Several people like to harp that the number of bugs addressed in V1.1 were present in previous versions - it's just not true.

I'm sure that they thought about backward compatability but since there have been changes to flight models and the addition of a new flyable aircraft I believe it would have been impossible to make it possible to have V1.02 and V1.1 compatible for online play.

Today is Opening Day for Baseball here in San Francisco and I am taking the day off to see the Giants take on the hated Dodgers. I'd rather be watching a Baseball game than complaining about waiting for a software add on. Obviously ED wants this thing to be released so they must have a pretty damn good reason to wait a week. Could someone point me to an official announcement that states that PayPal is the only means to purchase the product? I don't believe that it is the only way to pay for FC. It will be released when it is released. Try and be patient and let's stop with the conspiracy theories as they are really silly. Play ball!

I'm not "playing" with words, I'm being realistic and accurate. If I were calling the shots I wouldn't mention even a planned release date. Nobody has made or broken any promises. If you can't wait and are so disappointed that you have to wait for the product then you can show your ultimate contempt by not purchasing the product. But saying that promises are being broken implies an intentional deception that just is not taking place. I understand the frustration of some people but I also believe that saying that promises are being broken is extreme and silly.

"Planned" does not mean "promise" in any language.
