IR the missile IR Napillo, you cut the throttle off just in case of an IR missile to reduce your heat signature, not for a fox1, a fox 3 , a sam ( except sam 9, 13) Your answer don't help much....You CAN NOT EJ when you want in the JF17 (as long as your speed is too high, the other "blue" jets can) so it can't be called an EJ. I find it strange, does it behaves this way IRL?

thx pavlin, But cutinng the throttle to idle while defensive or evading a missile is dangerous, that's why i asked before about the EJ which can not be operated at all time like in other jets.

It is not a viable solution for a jet like the JF17... Imagine a Sam13 pops in, you are flying very low and fast, you VID the missile smoke trails, you have to EJ to gain maneveurability and speed. In the JF17 you can not instantly drop your ordonnance cause you are fast: this is not a EJ for me if you can not do it. Perhaps there is a way to do EJ in any case, fast and during a combat, i wonder this...

Hi, I find the emmergencu jettison a bit tricky to be done. When you are into BVR and fast, it is impossible to Emergency Jett to escape a sudden threat, due to speed limit... I find it ricky to slow down to EJ, so i wonder how do pilot do this IRL? When you are burners On to gain altitude for ex, and then a threat pops in, you can not EJ so, for me, it is not an "emergency" jettison .

Hi, On my HDS page, Datalink On, on the border of my screen there are no options as "ALT, EVP,GRND, UNKN,AEW, FRD". Just remains the " OPEN " or "Priority". I've watched several tutorials, they all shows this border options (which can disapear with the Declutter fonction) but this videos are old, 5 yo about. Any idea please? >Thx ps: the Tacan is still visible but the datalink is fonctionnal. I am in mode Master and " NES" is on. Code 199 on radio 2 entered

Hi, I wonder why there are so few JF17 into the PVP servers. It is a well polished fighter, it is a very good alternative as an opponant for the blue side. -Good A2A missiles - Very good and modern A2G weapons - friendly interface - easy to flight -surprisingly agile I wonder why there is so few....The look? because it is named "low cost"? Because it is has only one single Mig29 reactor? why?

I am curious too, thx for your question I feel that the F1 is on par with the F4 if the F1 is in "good hands". I find the F1 sightly superior @ low speed with combat flaps.

I want to mention one more thing: i like the fact if you don't complete the mission and success it, you have to fly it again, there is no possibility to skip the mission in case of fail result = this is much appreciated for this amazing module, often underated and complex for the people who want to dig in. With this option " anti skip" you have to learn in depth the hidden capacity of the Viggen in order to complete the mission. There are a lot of animation, good music and screen "pop up" = well done really! A huge thx for your work
