Ive got the same gpu but half the RAM is this worth a try for me ?

Thanks I understand that i cant ever have max settings with those specs, but at the very least 2xAA and defered shading and everything else to the left. I have a very similar graphics card to yourself but the 2 gb version, do you think its worth swapping over ? At the moment the best i can get from 2.5 is medium to low settings which is the same as 1.5.8 but 1.5.8 looks better. Would there be any benefit to installing 2.5 on a separate ssd i have one of those somewhere. im going to get the 4gb of ram over the next few days its all i can afford at the moment im a single parent and i can only work part time

Hi, i'm looking for a little advice. I've got the steam version so i downloaded 2.5 without thinking as I was quite excited and of course I have come across the defered shading AA problem and a lot of microstutters. So on the first day i spat my dummy and went back to 1.5.8 and had a tinker with the graphics and got it running really really nice. Ill write my specs. here and change my sig later i5 6400 240gb ssd cheap £69 motherboard 8gb ddr4 corsair ram (2144 hrtz i think) 1050 ti oc (4gb) I am not interested in running at max settings more midrange but i would like to be able to have normal looking trees or adjust the gamma and no jaggies. Is this going to be possible on the kavkaz map at all ? I have Nevada also btw. the stutters it seems are not an AA problem as the FPS is steady at 45 but stuttering what could this be? In reality for me its the same as when i would run FS9 which i could make look nicer than FSX. Should I persevere with tweaking 2.5 or should i just wait with 1.5.8. I can only really afford a cheap 4gb stick of ram as an upgrade tbh. Is there any more things i could tweak ?
