Hi, Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, My friend who lives in Russia gifted me through steam the A-10c DLC as a present for doing some work for him but i cant redeem it, its region protected. Is there anything i can do ? I am in the UK btw I can use a VPN to redeem it but i dont then know if it will work in the UK after that. I have most of the other modules already in steam and i dont want to mess with that.

Hi, I'm back again, maybe i have overstepped myself, I wanted to add another radio with chatter to the above triggers that I could change by changing the frequency in flight. So i created a new trigger with the same rules obviously different trigger zones. The audio from the radios completely failed i even had to delete the trigger and reload the ogg file. Is what i wanted to do possible or is it a bug or user error again

thanks for the help ill give this a try later this evening, is it possible to change the signal to FM or does it need to be AM? When you input the signal in the editor does it need to be in the format 124.1 or does it need to be 124100 ?

Hi, I'm wondering if any of you guys could help me with a mission i'm trying to create in the Mi 8. The basic idea is a gunship assault on a radio station using the signal of the Radio station for navigation and as a "radio" during the mission for the crew. If possible both navigation and music would be great but if i cant have both i would like just the music. I've used the following guide to set up the radio signal, although not on my airport at the radio station/tv tower. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=105554 I tried the different ways to do it and I have got the radio signal to broadcast, but i cant seem to get the radio in the Mi 8 to pick up the signal almost like my radios are turned off. I've been trying to use the SAR radio with the 6 presets, using preset number 6 and setting the signal up in the editor to match. Is there a specific radio to use for this purpose? or is it my pilot error? i also have CLTD and mist installed in the mission and the broadcast.ogg triggers set could this be my problem ? Any help would be appreciated

I have quite a low end GPU and CPU but 24 Gb of RAM I set the trees at 90 to 100 % and pre load at 100% i do get some trees popping up but it is usually at distances of 10 to 15 k when i'm at altitude. Flying low at helicopter speeds or at a10 speeds I don't get any pop up trees at all as far as I can see. Also my draw distance is set medium i can't set it high because then i get serious frame drops. What I would love to see is the 1.5.8 textures on the 2.5 trees, but this is a matter of taste. Maybe the OP could try these settings and then balance visual quality to get better frames. The graphics usage post helped me a lot to understand the relation between the settings and the memory be it GPU memory or RAM. To be fair I was lucky I changed a setting and it seemed to work so I left it, I fear some people get into a state where they are making too many changes and adjustments. I think my biggest problem was i was getting in the cockpit taking off stuttering and then changing something Just Fly !!!! enjoy what we have already.

At absolute minimum settings (apart from 1080) its a stutterfest

Thats great and we are all patiently waiting, but I think people aren't so much worried about the beta performance but the ability to play the release version on computers that some people have only recently purchased which meet the minimum specifications and in some cases recommended specifications. If the performance of the beta doesnt change, computers running your published minimum specs will barely be able to play the game at even the absolute lowest settings. I think the recommended and minimum specs need a good look at. If i was to read my computer didnt meet the minimum required my expectations would reflect that. Whereas currently my expectations are a lot higher.

I'm wondering when the update/hotfixes will be released on steam too.

I don't know if its full screen or not but if i press alt enter when i enter a mission i get better performance. I only have full screen enabled in settings and v sync in nvidia settings

I have the same issue with night lighting as everyone else, but for me I consider the day lighting to be too bright, and with the gamma turned down it seems over saturated. For want of a better explanation during the day it seems completely blown out, over exposed. Night time i have to turn defered off, its still not perfect. But still isnt as bright as it should be. I really dont like using gamma to adjust this stuff I think it messes with colours as noted above. I hope a fix comes soon, especially some change to the trees during the day with defered off. Some of my modules run quite bad with defered on. The mig 21 for example.

Why not extend the sale from the 23rd of Feb holiday to a little after the 8th of March to honour all the women in our lives. I think we owe it to them for their understanding of our passion for flight sim !!
