Will the AV-8B N/A model be transformed into an FRS1 and sold together ? Or will an entirely new plane be made ? I'm assuming of course that a Harrier will be part of the module.

I would have fun with the Falklands to simulate what could have happened as much as what did happen. One thing we or I don't know is what aircraft ? To my knowledge no Sea Harriers/Mirage III etc. have been announced, I've heard of an A-4 being done.

True, would have to do airstarts unless they include the Veinticinco de Mayo for Hypothetical scenarios.

I suppose someone could do a modern Vietnam map. That map could be used for earlier scenarios for people wanting to sim the Vietnam war. After all, the plane models are not exactly correct either. Personally I'm happy with any useful maps/planes :)

I would love to see a Twin Huey as a paid release however I doubt the amount of work would justify it for Belsimtek . I would certainly buy one however.

Hi : I'm fairly new with the mission editor and have a question. Is there a way to set a trigger to have AI aircraft takeoff and try to intercept you if you approach within a pre-set range ? I've been looking through the editor manual and I know you can spawn a group on an airfield if you approach but can you have that flight takeoff and try to intercept you regardless of which direction you are approaching from ? Without having to define waypoints. I used to have Janes f-18 installed and the process was quite simple. Place the aircraft on airfield, define a reaction range and if you approached within that distance they would takeoff and try to intercept you. If we cannot do that it would be a nice feature. I would like to see the default path for skins/mods to be on the drive that the game is installed on. Ie: My game is on my E drive but skins/ saves/mods go to the c drive (Which on my system is a small partition)

Thanks for the info. Will wait to see about Xmas sale and get at least the F-86 & might get the Spit/assets & Normandy then as well. Not much point in doing more with 2.5 almost here :) Will get the F-18 later when pre-order is up next year.

Well, I don't know for certain it's an improvement. I think it would be having the screen constantly centered on where you are looking. Move your eyes to the gauge in the top right of the screen and the gauge is automatically centered for you. Glance back to a switch and the screen centers there Since various armed forces use it it must be better than head tracking. Of course they have the money :). I have an older track ir 2 or 3 and I found it a pain in the butt. Maybe they are better now but I would prefer my screen to center on where I want to see not where my head is pointing - - - I think :) Would love to hear from someone who has tried it.

I wonder how close we are to Eye Tracking in practical terms ? Head tracking means you are bobbing back and forth all the time. Personally I could never get used to it. Most people seem to like it. Now with something that would track your corneal reflection you could look in all directions with the screen staying centered on where you look. No more head movements. There is a review on a product called Steel series sentry on the web but it sounds like it is not there yet. Wonder if the devs have any idea of upcoming technology ?

Hey Guys: I'm fairly new around here and have a few questions. Right now I only have the F-15c. I'm getting the F-18 when it comes available and have been thinking about the Spitfire w maps & assets and maybe even the F-86 at some point. Leaving the F-18 out of the picture as it sounds like it sounds like it won't be til next year. I see the Normandy bundle on now however it's my understanding that I would lose Caucasus map til 2.5 comes out next year as well ? Plus I still don't have the spitfire so no plane to fly on it :) I believe there is normally an Xmas sale ? Would it be cheaper/as cheap to wait for the sale if there is one to get the Spit/Assets and Normandy all at one time ? Thanks PS : Sorry if this is the wrong forum
