No, I'll try to explain better. When I go to User CP, and select 'Edit Signature', and then add a picture, I can only ever have one. If I add another, then it will replace, not complement, the one I already have. I would like to find a way around this, but if it's impossible, then I'll just be content with using boring old words... By the way, have you ever had trouble with the F-15C swerving a lot without your command on takeoff? It's my bane, I just can't get the thing off the ground. Any ideas?

I can take off fine in single player, but for some reason in the 1.5.8 Stable Steam Belgium Aerobatics mission, I always crash in take off. Also, the ground crew won't take off my drop tanks, so if I want to get lighter, I have to get in the air and drop them. I managed once, but there was a lot of swerving, and I still crashed in the end. Any idea at all as to what I should do? Another thing, what speed (in knots, like the HUD uses) should I take off? I try to do so at around 150 knots.

I know, but if installing the Su-27 as well as FC3 will keep at least its icon, and therefore wallpaper and theme, I'm willing to take the extra download time and computer space. Besides, I like having everything I own installed.

Hello, everyone! I thought this would be the right place to post this, because I have several unrelated questions. Here they are, not necessarily listed in order of importance: 1-I have FC3 with 1.5 Steam, and Su-27 with 2.2 Standalone. If, when I get 2.5 Standalone, I install both FC3 and Su-27, will the Su-27 icon/wallpaper stay, or will it disappear like the other FC3 aircraft icons? 2-Which aircraft use the AIM-9X Sidewinder and the Kh-41 "Sunburn"? I looked at all the likely candidates, and none of them had either available. 3-Is it possible to post multiple signature pictures? Thanks in advance!

Okay, here's my plan of action, divided into steps: 1-Wait for DCS World 2.5.0 Stable Release to become available for download on Standalone. 2-Uninstall and remove DCS World 1.5.8 (Stable/Release; Steam) and DCS World 2.2.0 (Open Alpha; Standalone). 3-Install 2.5 and all my modules. Sound good?

Yeah, a Tornado IDS variant would be very cool. I also like the other third generation interdiction strike-fighters, namely the F-111F Aardvark, and in particular the Su-24M "Fencer-D". My absolute highest priority list would probably be, in no particular order: Su-24M "Fencer-D"-Really cool interdiction aircraft, plus old enough to be a possibility. Su-30SM3 "Flanker-C"-Obviously way too advanced for the information to be legally obtainable, but really awesome. Su-35S "Flanker-E"-Same as the '30, but with more powerful engines, less drag, higher speed, and other improvements.

A quick question: which aircraft use the AIM-9X Sidewinder and Kh-41 "Sunburn"? They're in the encyclopedia, but I can't find them available for the most likely aircraft.

Okay, I've got it all down. When the 2.5 release becomes available, I'll just uninstall and remove my 1.5.8 release (Steam) and wait for my 2.2 alpha (standalone) to update. Either that or just uninstall and remove them both, and download 2.5 release (standalone). Sound good?

Hello, everyone! I'm playing the Su-27 Fortress Mozdok campaign, and I'm having trouble with mission 16 ('Blinders'). It's the one where I have to go and shoot down the AWACS aircraft. I've tried around 3-4 times so far, and have been killed each try. How do I get to the E-3A without dying? My wingmen usually get shot down, and I invariably run out of chaff at some point or another. Any ideas? One more thing: any secret trick to dodging AMRAAMs? I can usually dodge them, and Sidewinders are no problem as long as I detect them soon enough, but it's annoying to have to release lock on the target and evade.

Hello. I have a question. I own FC3 on my 1.5 for Steam, and I own Su-27 on my 2.2 for Standalone. If, when I update to 2.5, I install both, and not just FC3, will the Su-27 icon, at least, remain? They all disappear when FC3 is installed, which is annoying. It'd be really nice if, not only did they not disappear, they got lit up and I could put up the wallpapers! But, the main question is, will the Su-27 icon stay there?

Ah, yes, that must be it. I bought them during the Christmas sale. I guess that answers my question, but on more thing: do I have to register or something, or will any non-sale purchase automatically give me bonus points?

Okay, I understand! Thanks for everything! But, as QuiGon said, the Steam version does auto-update. Should I just uninstall my Steam version before it updates? If so, when is that? I play it a lot.

Um, actually, that's true for my Standalone (2.2), but my Steam 1.5.8 stable (not OB) auto-updates. I can't even turn the auto-update on, I can just switch it to updating sooner than everybody else, or to updating only when I turn DCS on (which would at least stall it until I want to play 1.5). Please correct me if I'm wrong, it could be that for this much of a transition it'll ask me. To make it super-duper clear, I don't have the OB, I don't really care about the OB, I just want the stable release version, and I want it for Standalone, even though my 1.5 is Steam.

Just to make it a bit more clear as to what I'd like to accomplish, and how I'd like to go about getting it done, I'll try to explain. I would like to finish out with just having DCS World 2.5.0 (and all my modules, obviously) on Standalone, NOT Steam, but to not have 1.5.8 Stable or 2.2.0 Open Alpha installed. Also, I would like to not have to download anything more than once, and to not have 3 versions of DCS World on my computer at one time, however short that time may be (I just don't have the memory for it to be even possible). JM1, I do have access to my FC3 planes on Standalone. It doesn't offer me the option of installing the Ultimate Argument, but I think that's just because it's for Caucasus, as it says it has a Starforce key. I would rather just have one download, and I don't need it immediately I'm just trying to figure out if it auto updates, and if so, how to work with that. Thanks for all the help!

Okay, what can I do, so that when I automatically get updated to 2.5, it becomes Standalone? I don't want it Steam!! Also, I would prefer it if it doesn't require having 3 DCSs on the computer at one time, or more than one download. And, will it take up less memory than is currently used with both 1.5 and 2.2 being on the computer at the same time?

What I want is to have DCS 2.5.0 on Standalone, with all my purchased modules, but no other versions, nothing on Steam, and only one download required. Is that possible? As in, will it automatically update to 2.5, and I'll have to uninstall both versions beforehand, and then install 2.5 and the modules?
