Um, who's the other guy (not Mr. Wagner) who's talking in the video? I've watched some of his videos on the MiG-29 campaign, and I can't find any past mission 6, but I don't know who he is.

Hello, everyone! I thought this would be a better place to put this, as it seems more active. Anyways, as I posted here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=204195, I'm having some issues with crashing when taking off in the MiG-29S in the Over The Hump campaign. I've determined that it's not the SA-15 Tor, as there is no indication of it shooting in the debriefing, nor is it the birds, as I removed them, and I still explode. What is it? My one remaining idea is that it might be the grate over the engine intake (if it's even modelled in DCS), as I usually try to pull up at about 200km/h, and my successful takeoffs have been at ~250km/h.:helpsmilie:

I managed to finish the campaign, but only after that did I discover what the problem actually was. I'd left the bird level at 10,000, instead of 0! I guess that SA-15 Tor wasn't to blame, after all.

I'm trying to do the F-15C Bear Trap campaign, but I can't get past the first mission. After flying a few waypoints, I'm told to land. The first time I tried, I just ended the mission, because on the Su-27 and MiG-29S campaigns, you don't have to land to successfully complete a mission. I just assumed the same here. After discovering that I'd have to do it again, I tried landing, and, as usual, crashed and died. Do I have to land? How do I navigate in the F-15C? The ADI needle always goes to the far right of the ADI.

Is there a way to have the game full screen, but still have the task bar visible?

Made it by taxiway takeoff, but then in the final mission it's still shooting at me. Somebody, help!

On another mission, Sweep, I got shot down again, but I had asked permission to taxi and takeoff, and the ATC had let me. Also, in the debriefing, there's no indication of me being shot at. HELP!

So, Beta gets everything a little earlier, but it's more buggy. When the stuff goes to the release version, will all of the improvements given to it also go the Beta? As in, Beta gets stuff earlier, and when it goes to the release version, it will be the same between the two?

Just wondering, what's the difference/advantage/disadvantage between OB and stable? As in, when the release version comes out, will it be any different then OB?

When and why did VEAO stop making things for DCS? I'd love a Tornado. I'd prefer an ADV F.3, but an IDS GR.4 would be fine.

Well, I figured it out, but only after 3-4 losses by it, and some trial and error. First I tried going into mission planner, but I couldn't move it. Then I tried going into mission editor after that, and just deleting it and saving it. That worked, but only after I'd done mission 5 did I discover that I still had to do it in the campaign, with the SA-15 Tor still there, and doing the modified one was just like doing a single player mission. Then I tried taking off from a taxiway, but I crashed into a static object while taking off. Finally, I just asked permission to takeoff, and then it worked fine. I guess it's good to know, but I'm kinda bummed to have those extra losses in my logbook, and having done the mission for nothing.

I'm doing Over The Hump, and in missions 3 and 5, the SA-15 Tor beside the runway always shoots me down as I takeoff. I've tried taxiing down the runway further, and it worked for mission 3, but not 5. Besides, it shouldn't even fire at me, what should I do?:helpsmilie:

No, the Su-27SM had R-77s, the Su-27S (aka Su-27 without S) is the standard model, which is in DCS.

I would totally, absolutely love a Su-30, but there are a few issues. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that the initial Su-30M and export Su-30K didn't have more than rockets and dumb bombs for A/G, and I don't think they had the R-77, which would defeat the purpose. As for the Su-30MK we have in DCS, it does have all the R-77 and multi-role capabilities, but I don't think it actually got produced until it was at the Su-30MKK/MKI stage, which is obviously way too advanced for it to be possible. Seaeagle, I believe the Su-27 is a Su-27P. We have the Su-27S in DCS, the Su-27P is the same but without A/G capability, as it's for the air defense forces.

I've had it all the way I want without issue before, it's just now not behaving. I know only the HUD avionics (and computer voice) of the Russian aircraft are English, and I know they're in metric. What I mean is the labels and the info bar at the bottom of the screen when on external view. This all worked before, even on 2.5OB, why not now? Also, the info bar has disappeared, which has never happened.

Hello, um, I set some specific options in the, well, 'Options' menu, and none of them are the way I want. For instance, I don't want a pilot body, yet there is one when available, I want avionics English, yet they're native, and I'm assuming that the units are imperial, when I want them metric.:helpsmilie:

Wait, the Indians are getting the PAK-FA? I didn't know that. Also, do you have any idea if the cockpit you've made is accurate? As in, is it a true simulation of the real one, or just something you made up?

Sort of unrelated, but I've seen some sites that say certain variants of the Flanker (like the Su-30MKM, for example) can carry 2xR-27R/T, and 6xR-27ER/ET. Shouldn't it be 8xR-27R/ER and 2xR-27T/ET?

I liked the system, and I wish it was still here, but I suppose there are some benefits to not having it, as well.
