Mission 5. Was doing mission 5 of Fortress Mozdok, and survived with this a while, before going down. BTW, how do I make pictures I post big, instead of little things that can be clicked on to make bigger?

Hello, everyone! I thought this would be the right place to put this, please move if not. Anyways, I thought I'd like to start a thread where everyone can post their top speeds. Anything counts, IAS, TAS, level flight, dive, any aircraft, whatever. I'll start us off by listing my top three: 1-MiG-29S "Fulcrum-C"-2,000km/h IAS, in a complete dive. 2-Su-27S "Flanker-B"-1,520km/h IAS, in a complete dive. 3-Su-27S "Flanker-B"-1,420km/h IAS, in near-level flight (obviously still pointed towards the ground a bit).

I think this is the right place to put this, but, anyways, I'm redoing Fortress Mozdok, and in mission 4 (Incursion), whenever I start it, my jet is always right on top of another Flanker, so we both explode. Why? Is there a fix?:helpsmilie::mad:

Are they still planning on making the MiG-29 into a separate module?

Guys, I appreciate your trying to help me, but I don't think I'd really like to tamper with my laptop. I think for now I'll stick with the way things are, for now. Besides, it isn't THAT bad.

Say, um, does getting combat scores (flight time, kills, losses, etc.) in a campaign give them to the logbook, or does it just stay with the campaign status chart? I did the first mission (FAM Flight) of Fortress Mozdok, but my logbook doesn't have any flight time, just a campaign mission.

Um, I updated to 2.5OB, and my Fortress Mozdok campaign is in Franch (or maybe Spanish). Why? Is there a fix?

The mod for the Su-27/33 works great, Hawkeye60! I love it! I have to override LA to get reasonable launch range for the R-24T/R-33/R-40T (haven't tried the R-60M yet), but it still is great! The R-77, oddly enough, seems to always be getting LA at 40-45KM., which is nice, though for some reason the R-73 has an increased range as well. Love it! I'll probably post some screenshots in the 'What If: User Mods Screenshots And Videos' thread sometime soon. Thanks a whole lot! And, Vilab, thanks for your help, to!

Um, the briefing for my Su-27 Fortress Mozdok campaign is in French or Spanish (not sure which, most likely French). I've done it once before, so I can still play it and know what to do, but why is it like this, and is there a fix?

So, just move the mod? And, do I do it in my 'File Manager', or in the game itself?

I downloaded it, but nothing's changed. Do I have to do something else, or is it just that it isn't 2.5OB compatible? Also, where should I save it? Right now it's in the downloads file.

Um, Vilab, would that still allow the Su-27 to use the R-27, as well? Also, could I do it for the Su-33, and also let them use the R-33?

Um, I know it's 2.5 compatible, but it's pretty big, and I don't want the entire thing. Besides, does it even allow the Su-27/33 to use the R-77? I thought it was just a flyable DCS version of the Su-57/T-50/PAK-FA. BTW, is ED planning on sometime in the relatively soon future doing anything that is R-77 related? Like improving the in-game one's FM, or making a newer, better, more advanced, longer-ranged version (especially advantageous for us MiG-29S pilots), or making a small update that allows the Su-27/33 to use the R-77? I think that making a paid (~$5-10) update that allows the Su-27/33 to use the R-77 would rack in a LOT of money (I know I'd buy it), and give a lot of players, new and old alike, a renewed interest in these beautiful aircraft. Besides, we need something that can contend with the upcoming Hornet (even though they are easier to fly, so they already have an advantage; they also have a LOT more fuel and missiles).

Hello, everyone! I think this is the right place to put this, but I'm not completely sure. Anyways, I've noticed that running 2.5OB all by itself doesn't perform nearly as well as running 1.5 Stable and 2.2OA AT THE SAME TIME did. Neither of them crashed much at all, just very, very occasionally, but 2.5 crashes all the time. Now, I know this is because my video card is below the minimum requirements, but then, why does it run at all, and why did 1.5 and 2.2 work fine? I don't have the data to revert to those 2 this month, and I might not do it at all, but I'm considering it. Is there anything I can do? Should I just stick it out, crashes and all? Another thing I've noticed is that occasionally it'll freeze for a few seconds, before continuing, and it's also a bit more jittery than usual. 2.2 was like this, but not quite as bad, an 1.5 never did this. It's not super bad, but it's still annoying. I can attach crash logs if you like, but I don't imagine it'd help anything, and I've got my first 5 (I think I'm up to 12-15 by now, and I've only had it for a week) posted in another thread, https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=202465. :helpsmilie:

Are there any good 2.5OB compatible mods that allow the Su-27/33 to use the R-77? I downloaded the missile upgrade pack, but it doesn't work with my version, and I didn't keep 1.5.

So, um, how do I know what's accurate? I love the R-77, so I just really like info on it. One more thing: How do the Su-35Ss carry 2 R-77s on EACH of the center fuselage stations?

So, what variants are in production? At least the R-77M/T/P without the -PD?
