Black Sea Resolve Campaign update.

Man, that sounds so cool. I bet playdates with your setup are fun. I'm glad you went all the way with it. It sounds quite awesome. -
Black Sea Resolve Campaign update.
SorelRo replied to SorelRo's topic in F-5E Black Sea Resolve '79 Campaign
You are dedicated. Sorry I can't make them fatter, but it seems like that's how it should be flying the F-5 with those stubby little wings. Lucky for you, it's not an F-104 what FFB stick you are using? -
Black Sea Resolve Campaign update.
SorelRo replied to SorelRo's topic in F-5E Black Sea Resolve '79 Campaign
So, you are getting a workout in? And man, that is awesome, if you have to pull that much, I'm assuming you don't hit any high AOA states like that and you manage to stay always fast. Now, I'm more than certain that the F5 has some hydraulic actuators so maybe that 40 pounds is not a good FFB implementation. -
Black Sea Resolve Campaign update.
SorelRo replied to SorelRo's topic in F-5E Black Sea Resolve '79 Campaign
That is correct. The problem is that they are omniscient and good pilots and as they burn fuel they become even lighter, and it shows. So now they are fat. -
Hi guys, who can lend a hand with a bit of VVS radio brevity and explain how the radio conversations are being conducted? I have a feeling that my internet searches and what I used to know from the Romania Air Force are not right for this. Cheers, Sorel

I'm disappointed by this campaign
SorelRo replied to d0ppler's topic in F-5E Black Sea Resolve '79 Campaign
Welcome! -
It will make it on the next update. As there are other changes to the campaign that I'm trying to push out. I wasn't aware that we have an SLA.
-
Hello folks, The updated campaign has been sent to Eagle Dynamics to be included in the next update. This contains the campaign for the F-5E and the F-5E FC version. Change log: -voices redone and more voices added -triggers reworked -navigation aids added, guidance from Overlord when going off-course on long legs. - easier ways to finish a mission - ability of players to select to be Immortal at any time during the missions - ability to report Winchester and Bingo fuel state, this will trigger a win to live and fight another day. -Mig-21 and Mig-23 AI flights were tweaked to be more manageable. Pilots fatten up with 1000 kilos in some cases. - AI F-4 updated to use the Heatblur F-4E ...and many more.

It's the new fog engine that's messing up the dust over the gulf. Missions will be updated on the new update. As for not knowing what to do. maybe you forgot to setup the radios properly, or not following the waypoints. As there's enough feedback for you to find the ship to reccon and to sink it. I know it feels that you are perfect and your must be the best pilot that ever strapped a virtual cockpit to your back, but I'm assuming that you must've done something wrong.

I'm disappointed by this campaign
SorelRo replied to d0ppler's topic in F-5E Black Sea Resolve '79 Campaign
Yeah, I watched the track, there's a lot of things there. I would say to wait for the update where a lot of the timings are better put together and you have more ways to return back home with a completed mission, the updated campaign will let you report Winchester or Bingo and that will let you go and fight another day, also with better timing and spawning of the enemy flights. Cheers, -

I'm disappointed by this campaign
SorelRo replied to d0ppler's topic in F-5E Black Sea Resolve '79 Campaign
The thing is, you are saying you shot down all the Mig's when your target is the SU-17's, maybe that's the problem, you miss identified the two, very similar in shape, but the Floggers are tied with the F-4's, so your focus should be the Su-17's. Maybe wait for the updated missions instead of trying to figure this one out. But, it's always up to you. Cheers, -
I'm disappointed by this campaign
SorelRo replied to d0ppler's topic in F-5E Black Sea Resolve '79 Campaign
So, let's go through this, you take off, fly towards waypoint 1, to the best of your abilities, allow your flight to form up with you, climb to 25000 as briefed, allowing the rest of the flight to stay with you, and what happens next? Any chance you can post a tacview track? or a replay? Replays may not be as reliable. -
I'm disappointed by this campaign
SorelRo replied to d0ppler's topic in F-5E Black Sea Resolve '79 Campaign
Yes, there are documents, it's just that whenever you are in alert 5 and get a scramble order, you will have less information to work with, and you have to go and intercept the bandits reported by AWACS and shoot down as many as you can before they hit the ships, that's why in those type of missions the information is scarce, and that is by design. -
I'm disappointed by this campaign
SorelRo replied to d0ppler's topic in F-5E Black Sea Resolve '79 Campaign
If you would have gone through this section, you would see that the campaign is being reworked. About to be resubmitted to ED. if it's not your thing, ohh well, I'm sorry, the point of a scramble mission is exactly that, to deal with the unknown, and be pushed outside your boundaries, unless being fed pointers and have the whole thing go on rails, and the UH1 campaign has a lot of leeway when it comes to triggers. Maybe it's your skill or maybe you just don't like my work either way, it is what it is. However, the campaign is being reworked and should contain more fail safe options for someone to know when an objective is being complete. -
Saboteur - Trigger bugs?
SorelRo replied to mdtenor22001's topic in UH-1H The Huey Last Show Campaign
Something should have happened, I'll check the triggers, and push an update. -
Thanks for all this, not forgotten, just takes some time to go through all this. But you know how it is with our beloved DCS, from one update to the other AI does something else, completly
-
I'll try to escalate it again, but as you can see nobody is answering back.

campaign overhaul?
SorelRo replied to Pegas44 (Andrey)'s topic in MiG-21bis Battle of Krasnodar Campaign
ETA is still a few months away, this is pretty much a new rebuild at this point. With so many new features added in ME from the moment this was done to now, and with so many changes in the AI, it will end up being a full rebuild. -
Thanks for the feedback, there's a lot of things that you put there, that shouldn't be. I'll try to tackle them one by one. First question, do you use any mods?
-
Ohh, thanks, makes sense now, to some extent Funny enough is that i have checked that name about 3 times when I put that briefing together. I was just as surprised.
-
Ha? I'm confused.

You have to land at the airstrip next to Anderssen for the mission to pass, that happens after the bombers launch since you are taking the bombers out. That is borderline impossible, by the way, none of the triggers that are based on the missiles approaching the island will fire, so you are missing big chunks of the dialogue, I still find it strange how you can take out 18 bombers with 4 missiles and the gun. Unfortunately, the mission is not designed for a pilot with your skill level. Some of the bombers must make it. However, landing at North West Field should give you the passing score.
