The heavy BlueFor casualties are unavoidable at this point. It will change as you progress through the campaign. But you pointed right, the role was exactly this, to force them fire as many SAM at you as possible to give the Buffs and the Hornets a chance, and it looks like you did just that.

I'll run some tests. They were not useless and they used to engage. But AI in DCS you never know what you gonna get from one update to another. I'll run some tests and if needed I'll tweak and post the updated mission.

I wonder if you have have the right codes set for the harms. If they fire at you, you should see them and lock on them. Do the F18s and buffs fire? In the end that's the main mission. If they get to launch and cull some of the landing ships it will help down the road.

Thanks. I'll check, probably fuel consumption rate has changed. They should have had unlimited fuel. I'll check the sounds too.

Sorry I missed this. This has to be something with the right radio freq. AI as dumb as it is, does stuff, and it does it consistently in this mission. Make sure you are on the right freq on this one and that you are transmitting on the right radio when you order your wingman to do stuff. Wild1 2xF-16CM Blk 50 (Intraflight: 127.000

It seems like you missed the sub, I'll test the mission again, maybe something got messed up after the last update. The sub pops up, disturbed by your bombs. Should be visible on your radar, ground mode or sea picks it up miles away. Also is visible if you go down on the deck. Once you get close to it be able to ID you will get the RTB. You don't have the fancy helmet installed just yet. It will come later on.

Hi there. No "easy comms" I don't think there are any campaigns there where easy comms are working. The executive decision to attack together is simple. Engage mission and rejoin from the radio menu for your flight, or the hold position for your wingman so you can complete your run and then you can tell your wingman to engage. Also, damage control is done when needed. Sinking those ships with the ordinance you cary is totally doable.

You will have to switch channels to talk with the AWACS and various flights. You need to sink both ships. From what you are telling me. I don't think they both went down. Can't make artificial coral reef while they are still afloat. Also, wingman is ordered from the usual radio menu, when there are F10 comms you will have a reminder. But F1 flight attack mission and rejoin works.

You got it right, after you land next to the other Huey the mission should load, you should hear the "let's shut 'er down and the loading of the miniguns dialogue and then the mission should load". That's what i'm working on, adding the subtitles. and testing it again. I want to have it ready for the next update. -

I have tested all the 3 missions that make mission 5 and they all work okay for me. After you get the "loading next mission" message the new mission loads in 10 seconds, it's just a timer trigger. Then the rest of the missions are working fine on my test, and I'm using the same version all users have. I don't know what could not make the mission load. Did you by any chance delete any files when you were trying to get the updated one? Do you have any mods installed? -

The mission should load in a few seconds. I'll check in a few hours, timezones are complicated. I'll let you know what i'm finding on my end. -

Yeah, they will be available in the message history, and if someone doesn't want to see the wall of text, subtitles can be turned off in settings.

Thanks a lot for the kind words, you are right, the campaign will get an overhaul with more assets from the Massun92 asset pack, also, I'm working on having the ability to turn on or off the subtitles. It's always a balance between how much you can add into a mission before it takes a performance hit, as for the tower transmissions, from reading Chickenhawk and a few other books from pilots in the era, the interaction with the tower was minimal, or it wasn't documented properly, most of the traffic was with various controls, LZ's and FAC's, and i think that's represented quite well in the campaign. But rest assured that this campaign is still supported and updated. I wish that the ED guys would have a look at why the progress is not recorded properly.

Hi there, I checked the mission and it works okay on my end. I need to know more about what you are doing. Basic things, don't forget to turn your radios on. and don't use easy radio. The missions are designed to work with the radio setup to the right frequencies. As you finish your startup, you should hear the FAC doing it's automated DCS talk as he is reaching waypoint 1 and then as he is holding waiting for you. After takeoff, you should join with the AFAC helicopter and he will proceed on his route and tell you to stay back 500 yards or so. Then the mission continues the way it should be. Just to double check, is mission 3 the one that gives you problems?

Unfortunately, that is not possible, ED is encrypting and protecting the missions, this is not something I can control.
