  1. I’ve never had it explained that way. That makes sense that parallax affects the aim.
  2. I hope this isn't hijacking the thread. Apologies if so. In the Hornet, if I locked with the T-Pod, the Mav seeker was exactly on the target. I'm sure I'm bore sighting correctly but with the Viper, if I lock the T-Pod on a target, it puts the Mav seeker "close" to the target and I still need to adjust before firing. When targets are close together, I hit the wrong target about 1/3 of the time. Just confirming if this is what you need to do in the Viper or if I'm missing something and need to go back to the manual and tutorials.
  3. It was removed? Now I know why I can't find the option no matter how hard I look.
  4. I've intermittently had this same problem. Toggling power in the air gets it going.
  5. This would be a nice addition.
  6. Mine only works once gear is up.
  7. Is aerodynamic breaking modeled yet? I've read some people say it has little effect at this point.
  8. I'm a TM guy but the price point is nuts. $500USD plus tax and shipping for TM, $450CAD for WW to my door.
  9. Thanks razo+r. It took me a while to figure out I had to edit the skin lua in the Core Mods folder, I tried somewhere else first, but it was pretty smooth after that.
  10. I've had a mod for the Hornet to show all skins. I've been looking for a similar Viper mod without success. Is there a file out there? Hopefully this is in the right spot. Thanks.
  11. I'm looking at the same card for DCS VR. From what I see, the 4070ti has slightly better performance at a much lower price than the 3090. I expect it will be much better than my current 2070.
  12. AIM-9X are ordered but still not delivered.
  13. Thanks. Let me know what you discover.
  14. This hasn’t worked for me for a couple months. Flying MP yesterday I realized it was only happening to me. I put in the proper Tacan frequency for my tanker and I’m on send/receive. The tanker shows correct distance but my HSI shows it about 40 degrees from where it actually is. If I fly the bearing I go to the wrong place. Other than another repair (first didn’t fix it) what can I do to correct this?
  15. I downloaded and ran the 2.6 update. Kaspersky Total Security deleted some files so I did a repair and VHO:hacktool.win32.inject.gen is once again in my open beta\bin\worldgeneral.dll folder. Sorry for the cross post.
